24.01.2022 "Every Harley Davidson motorcycle in Australia must be here in Tamworth ..." was a comment that I heard a moment ago up the street. Well !!! Some 2,700 plus Har...ley Davidson motor cycles are in Tamworth at the annual Australian National HOG (Harley Owner Group) Rally this weekend. There will be 2,700 plus motor cycles in the "Thunder Run" from AELEC to Peel Street, Tamworth then to Quirindi and back. The sound will be unforgettable I am sure. Have fun everyone. Cheers. 21.01.2022 A mate posted this earlier today (thanks Greg P.) and I thought that it was very fitting, given my younger life in a number of smaller towns. Cheers, Graeme. "A small town is a place where there's no place to go you shouldn't". (Burt Bacharach)

19.01.2022 My first book!!! If you would like a "real paper" copy please drop by at the office (Tamworth Real Estate) and I will happily sign one especially for you or you can give me a call and we will see what we can arrange. I do have eBook versions too, but they are not as good as the real ones!!! (my opinion purely!!!). Have a great day. Cheers.

19.01.2022 As I expected - it had to happen (either April or May) in my opinion - the interest rate announcement is a further drop of 0.25% to just 2% - Cheers, Graeme Mil...ls Rates cut to lift subdued economy The Reserve Bank has decided to follow up its February rate cut with a further cut over May reflecting continuing concerns over the state of the national economy. Official rates cut as economy remains weak and dollar rises Easing cycle now in full swing Housing market activity rising as confidence lifts with falling rates More cuts likely if economy fails to revive Dr Andrew Wilson Senior Economist for the Domain Group.

16.01.2022 STREET APPEAL: 5 Quick Ways To Enhance Your Property A welcoming entryway is essential when selling your home. These 5 easy tips will add street appeal and hopefully more money in your pocket when you sell. 1. Replace welcoming elements: The letterbox, house numbers, door mat and door hardware can have a huge impression on buyers. These small elements can send a welcoming impression and are relatively inexpensive to replace. 2. Symmetry: Add pots of colour to either side of t...he front door for a visually dramatic entryway. Recommended are impatiens and succulents are also very fashionable. 3. Renew garden beds: Get them into shape by pruning growth, pulling weeds, planting flowers, and adding mulch to restore colour that was taken away by sunlight and harsh weather. Evening street appeal: During the sales process, consider always leaving a few interior lights on plus any exterior lights at the front of your home. Buyers may drop past to view at night. Cheers, Graeme.

15.01.2022 I have been doing some amazing training over the past couple of days. Met the famous Commando Steve after he presented his exciting ideas to the gang. Thanks for the photo Steve. Cheers.

12.01.2022 Do you believe that the Reserve Bank of Australia will cut interest rates tomorrow. My guess (see how good I am) is that the interest rate will drop by 25 basis points. Check the news at 2.30pm tomorrow. Cheers, Graeme Mills.

02.01.2022 "Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you know they are always there." (Attributed to a mate of mine but I think Author Unknown). Cheers.

01.01.2022 INTEREST RATES REMAIN STEADY FOR ANOTHER MONTH. It is most probably no surprise that the Reserve Bank of Australia has decided to maintain the official cash rate at 2.5 per cent, as predicted by most market analysts. Maintaining the current cash rate is in line with the RBA's intention to create a period of stability on interest rates. The new financial year usually heralds a slowdown in the Australian property market for the winter months. The period of stability on interest... rates, however, has created a lot of activity in the housing market, with auction numbers in most capital cities remaining high throughout June. Analysts advise that the continuing property market activity is being led by investors taking advantage of the low interest rate environment to boost portfolios. The high numbers of properties remaining on the market during this traditionally quiet time of year, however, means there are plenty of opportunities for folk wishing to make a purchase. The loan market remains very competitive, with many lenders still introducing low fixed rates and great options for variable rates. First home buyers, as well as those looking to refinance and invest, can expect some great deals ahead of the predicted interest rate rise later this year or early next year. Cheers, Graeme Mills.

01.01.2022 The RBA has left rates unchanged: "The Reserve Bank of Australia has again decided to leave interest rates at present levels following their official meeting today. This decision keeps the cash rate unchanged at 2.50%, which will please one third of Australian households that are currently paying down their mortgage. In the short term, the RBA are clearly applying their ‘neutral bias’ policy to facilitate a period of stability to our economy. In addition, some of the air ha...s been released from the ‘housing bubble’ discussion when a leading data house confirmed yesterday that the Australia housing market had peaked and is now beginning to cool, with a 1.9% reduction in the national price average during the last quarter, all of which is ‘normal’ in property cycle behaviour. Interestingly though, of the economists surveyed 100% believed that the next interest rate move would be upwards For Australian consumers, right now still represents a good time to benefit from a competitive home loan there are some incredible deals out there." Ask your bank for their best deals. Cheers, Graeme.
