13.01.2022 Donate something small to make a big difference to a great start up! Our mate Adam J Byrne from Bush to Bowl is starting an indigenous bush foods farm. It’s all about bringing bush foods to our kitchen and educating children about the oldest foods on earth, right here in our backyard! Sharing more of the true history of Australia! To start he needs a little helping hand... you can volunteer on one of their working bee days and you can even donate to their gofund too! They are based on the Northern Beaches but Ads is born and bred right here on the coast and he will be growing some foods for us to use in our kitchen and plant in our garden! 13.01.2022 Join us this Monday for an evening of storytelling by local artist Mike Rubbo Mike has been painting Avoca for over 20 years and his art works capture scenes of our beautiful village, like this one of the old cafe on the beach (where the fish and chips building is now). The floor was covered in sand and locals would hang here before and after a surf. Mike is a charming and comical storyteller with great local knowledge, so if you’d like to know about your local village come a...long for an abundant evening of connection.
