25.01.2022 This weekend will be the first Fathers Day my sons will have without their Dad. He died on the 5th of May this year. Just four months ago. And I have been thinking about how we are going to celebrate it? Or if we even should?... I know we could easily just go on with the day like its any other day, and it wouldnt be a problem. But should we be celebrating the Dad they knew? My boys are older. Our 24 year old is in Sydney, so we are separated by closed borders. And I am home with our 13 year old. He would be happy if I just let him play Fortnite all day. Normally we would go to church. But they are going to be celebrating all the Dads. Do we avoid that? Or confront it? Our 13 year old doesnt talk much about Dads absence. He has just gotten on with life seemingly fine. For now. Should I make him feel all these feelings on Fathers Day? Or let him avoid it all?

24.01.2022 We have 3 fun parties booked today. Maybe the themes they have chosen will give you some ideas Rocco & Tyler are brothers and their birthdays are too close to split. Rocco is turning 8 and Tyler is turning 6. They have agreed on a joint Sports & Novelty themed party. So they can be super sporty and as competitive as they like, with the old skool novelty races thrown in. (jumping sacks, eggs and spoons, 3 legged races) Harvey is turning 5 and has chosen a Games themed part...y. Perfect for his young friends, as everyone gets to join in at the same time without waiting turns, and there is no focus on winning or losing. Our parachutes always look brilliant in your birthday photos too. Charlotte is turning 8 and has chosen a Circus themed party. Flower sticks are definitely the most popular item at these parties, along with plate spinning and hula hooping. I'll add in an awesome video I found on youtube showing some fun flower stick tricks. 14.01.2022 A big hello to our Physi Family I think I am long overdue for a personal post to let you know a little about me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. Fully treatable and beatable. And boy am I grateful for the awesome care they provide at the Mater Public Hospital. ... I’m a single mum now, with just one son left at home - Jai, 13 years. And Liam, 23 years (he lives in Sydney) Their Father died last May, after many years of battling alcoholism, so we have been through a lot I guess you would say. But what a community we have around us! We found out just how large and awesome our community is during our last family struggle, so I just called on all the help I knew was there for this next experience. We are feeling all the love and don’t need for anything. I can focus on getting through 6 rounds of chemo infusions (already 2 down) followed by surgery and then more chemo via injection for 8 more months. I’ve been losing a lot of hair the past few days, so today Jai gave me a buzz cut. I’m glad I followed the advice of others and approached this in stages. I’ve had long hair all of my life so the biggest shock was cutting it short. And an even bigger surprise was that I began to love it short. I plan to keep it that way when it grows back. Thank you to my staff here at Physi kids. They have taken on more responsibility and have offered so much encouragement. Thank you to our kindy educators for being so understanding and compassionate. By reserving a section of your playground or a room for us to run our class. By offering us birthday cake on special days! By sharing your staff room for us to enjoy lunch with you. By sending us flowers and special messages when we are going through stuff. By being part of our extended family, offering your friendship, laughing with us and crying with us for the past 21 years. We value you, and we are always grateful.

We run the party at your childs kindergarten or childcare centre. Then limits dont apply. We can include ALL of the children in your childs room for 30 minutes of games, and you can even organise cake and/or party bags!
