23.01.2022 The Future is Bright for rising SA producer Jericho! New to LTLT and featuring 4 superb wines: Whites Fiano and Fume Blanc, and Reds Tempranillo and GSM, all at $24 per bottle. Don't Miss!

23.01.2022 Well I hope you've all had a Merry Christmas and are gearing up for a great 2016. For those not on the Instagram feed, the family LTLT have been on a European 'study tour' for the last few weeks around the regions of Piemonte and Bourgogne and I can't wait to get back an feature a couple of the incredible producers we've visited. More holiday snaps to come...

17.01.2022 Fresh Harvest - Ochota Barrels Spring Release out now! Spring comes early with an exuberant set of wines from this cult Adelaide Hills Producer. Featuring Australia's best Gewürztraminer ($37), a chiselled Rose ($30) & the banging' Green Room Grenache/Syrah ($36) as per usual - and two new wines; a spectacular Gamay ($41) and a weird-as-shit-but-oddly-compelling 'Fragola' ($41 an obscure italian grape)... The wines are atypical, exhilarating, and excellent. In stock now, and always hotly sought after so don't delay!

16.01.2022 And we're done! The cupboard is bare and LTLT is on holiday. Thank you all for your support throughout 2015, I'll be back in mid Jan 2016 with more great wines for you to enjoy.... In the meantime, check out the instagram @ltltwine and see what I get up to traipsing around Europe over the next few weeks...! I hope you all have a great Xmas and New Year period and will see you in 2016. Cheers, Peter

14.01.2022 Ask any winemaker about the Hoddles Creek pinot and chardonnay and they'll probably just shake their head and say 'I just don't now how he makes them so good at that price' 2015s now in stock and for $22 you get stunning fruit purity, and a wine that will age beautifully if you can keep your hands off it.

14.01.2022 A full day tasting Ports around the ancient houses of Porto, Portugal. Some of these producers date back to the 17th century! Incredible wines, totally unique to this part of the world.

14.01.2022 Matteo Correggia - Wines of Story, Wines of Soul. Sometimes, the story behind a wine almost eclipses the wine. The estate of Matteo Correggia has one of the best stories going round - Matteo died tragically in 2001 and his wife Ornella took the reins and somehow improved on an already legendary estate - and the new set of wines are something to behold (and represent some of the best value to get acquainted with the phenomenal wines of Piedmont, Italy). I am a massive fan, to ...put it mildly. On feature are the Waxy and flavourful Roero Arneis ($33), the silky Roero Nebbiolo ($38) and the aromatic and rich La Val Dei Preti Roero Nebbiolo ($63). Also, for something different, I'm offering 10% off the above prices until Friday July 15th!

11.01.2022 Day of the Dead End: A new Tempranillo from SC Pannell is now in stock at LTLT! It's fruity, it's earthy, it's a little vanilla-spicey, it's entirely delicious, and is a very reasonable $30 Have a glass of this, and you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!

11.01.2022 Last days for 2015, reds on sale! LTLT is closing for Christmas at the end of next week, so get your orders in by the end of Sunday 6th of Dec to drink like a c...hampion over the holiday season. In the meantime, I'll be featuring some 'Final Favourites' over the next few days. Include 3 in an order and get 5% off, include 6 and get 10% off, include 12 and get 12% off. Today featuring Shiraz: Wild Red $18, Tournon 'Mathilda' $20, and The Story 'Go' for $28.5. All have been customer favourites this year and all are down to my last few bottles so act quickly if you're interested!

09.01.2022 On Feature This Week: High Quality Yarra Valley producer, Toolangi. The 2015 Emanai ($22.5) made by Franco D'Anna (Hoddles Creek) is equal parts bright and moreish, while the estate Pinot Noir ($26.5) made by David Bicknell (Oakridge) has the bright fruits you'd expect at the price as well as the structure of a more pricy wine. Plus, both wines are freaking delicious.

08.01.2022 Shopping for some aged wine from the Catalan region of Spain in one of the best wine stores I've ever seen. Vila Viniteca in Barcelona: epic selection, amazing service.

06.01.2022 You can judge this book by the cover, because these wines are even better than their phenomenal labels. 'Range Life' have launched with a couple of perfect italian whites: In stock now are the astonishingly good Prosecco ($23.50) and Garganega (Yep, that's it's name - $26) ... These wines are perfectly suited to winter drinking; all spice and texture rather than fruit, and will kick off your next dinner party or after-work drinks with a bang!

05.01.2022 Bugalugs Grenache from Tim Smith: bright, fruity, sweet but not too sweet, and ripping value at $21. New to LTLT and in stock now. As Spring approaches, this is a great wine to bring into the regular roster and accompany the change in seasons.

05.01.2022 Some great mates of LTLT Have just opened a ripping new brewery and brew bar in Footscray that is well worth a look; I gave it the road test on the weekend and was mighty impressed at the space and the beers. https://www.broadsheet.com.au//food-and-drink/article/foun

05.01.2022 Fresh like cut grass - the first of the 2014 Burgundies are here! Powerful and intensely structured pinot, and super-charged Chardonnay This week featuring the incredible wines of Henri Boillot - so good that a high-end restaurant attempted to buy the entire shipment 6 months out from release, and the superb offerings of Domaine De Bellene, including a Bourgogne Rouge at $45 that is an excellent (and over performing) introduction to the wines of the region that won't break th...e bank. Henri Boillot 2014s Available (all white except the Volnay) are: Bourgogne Blanc - $60 Meursault - $120 Puligny Montrachet - $135 Volley 1er Cru Chevrets - $230 Domaine de Bellene 2014s available are: St Romain (Blanc) - $55 Savigny Les Beaune (Blanc) - $66 Bourgogne Rouge - $45 Cote de Nuits Rouge - $63 Volnay Les Grands Poisots - $94 Vosne Romanee 'Les Quartiers de Nuits' - $150 Back vintages of both producers also available on request

04.01.2022 Pinot & Shiraz - (back) Together at Last. YRB - Yarra River Burgundy - is the first red release from Yarra Valley winer Medhurst under young gun winemaker Simon Steele, and it's a beauty. Classically formed, never forced, it takes the best of both grapes to create a beautiful, aromatic, mid weight red that is dripping with class. Effortlessly classic, decidedly modern.... $30 and in stock now!

04.01.2022 More port tastings, this time at the incredible Vinologia, a bar/shop specialising in smaller, independent producers. The difference between the major port houses and the small wineries is much the same as the contrast between champagne houses and grower producers.

02.01.2022 Do you even Malbec? After pouring these sensational wines at a tasting recently, I was blown away by the quality on offer. This week featuring three wines from Argentina's Catena Zapata: Alamos Malbec at $19. Catena Malbec at $25, and the spectacular Catena Alta Malbec at $85

01.01.2022 JJ Prum - Bottled Bliss Let's not beat around the bush here: these are some of the finest wines produced on the face of the earth. They also are about 10% of the price of other wines of comparable stature, and for that represent some of the greatest value going (when you take the quality into account). All rieslings, all with some level of sweetness ( that finish clean and intense thanks to the perfect balance of acidity), but don't think these are dessert wines - The food ma...tch here is Pate, terrine, fatty spicy food. Wines available range from the Kabinett made from a blend of vineyards through the sweeter and more concentrated Spatlese and Auslese classifications with prices ranging from $50-120 and each wine representing incredible value for money. It simply does not get much better than this.
