25.01.2022 Today is Early Childhood Educators Day! Although we appreciate our Educators each and everyday, its still nice to say thank you for all they do. Our educators go above and beyond each day to care for each child, educate each child, have fun and play with each child, nurture and comfort each child and so much more. They go above and beyond because this is what they love to do, this is their passion, their career. Now it is our turn as families to say thank you. 23.01.2022 Dear Families Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is starting again on 13 July 2020. If you were receiving CCS before 6 April 2020, it will automatically start again if you’ve stayed eligible and your enrolment is current and confirmed.... Follow these five steps to make sure you’ve stayed eligible and receive the right amount of CCS: Give Centrelink your 202021 family income estimate to receive the correct CCS percentage and avoid an overpayment. Check your activity hours to receive the correct amount of hours of CCS per fortnight*. Make sure your child meets immunisation requirements. Check your child’s enrolment details are current with your child care service and re-enrol if you need to. Confirm your income for 201819 if you haven’t already by 30 June 2020. *From 13 July 2020, the Australian Government is easing the activity test for CCS. This means you may be able to apply for extra activity hours if COVID-19 has affected you. There will be more information about how to do this in July. If you’re new to child care, you should claim CCS as soon as possible. From 13 July 2020, you’ll pay full fees unless you’re getting CCS. For more information, visit Services Australia. The Department of Education, Skills and Employment has created an information sheet for families about the transition arrangements for the end of the Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package and the return to CCS.

05.01.2022 It's that time of the year again !!! Lil Sprouts are very excited to see the return of Grandpa, Lachie, Lucy and Gemma. Yesterday they announce there is a new arrival to the family...introducing baby Holly.... This morning we arrived to find them just hanging out in Sprouts tank...let's hope they can swim .

03.01.2022 CHILD CARE / ELC INFO - Important message for those who have children enrolled in an early learning or child care centre. DON’T UN-ENROL them to save money. The...re’s actually financial support you can receive... There is so much uncertainty in the world at the moment and so many people are losing their jobs, please don’t add your child's educators to that list. Talk to your centre/educator first. There are a number of things in place from the government to help families and to stop child care services from going bankrupt but these measures are only helpful if the children STAY ENROLLED. Firstly, if you or your partner has lost their job or had your wages cut, you can go on to your MyGov page and apply for temporary financial hardship. This means that the government may pay your childcare fees in FULL for 13 weeks. The government has also committed to paying the CCS portion of the fees in the event that the services do go in to lock down. What this means for services is that we can keep paying our educators, our rent, etc etc etc. It means that at the end of all of this, there will be services (FDC services and centres) to send your children to. Speak to your Centre Director and Family Day Care Educator. Find out your options, BEFORE just pulling your children out.
