12.01.2022 Random tree study at the Lower Picnic Ground at the You Yangs Nature Sanctuary (Reserve) as the sign says in entry. It’s nothing spesh (special) but I love how the background tree bends like a busy mum, picking stuff up off the ground like toys etc. My sketch isn’t in proportion to the original tree and photo, but I didn’t want it to be. I wanted it to be robust and big, like I like to be when I’m talking about God’s love for us.
08.01.2022 I've entered two art prizes this year, the Wyndham and Footscray Art Prizes. It's a new step for me, have never done this before, so I'm asking for prayers, that God gives me favour. As a Christian prophetic artist, I paint what God shows me in visions. It's a new area in art that unbeknown to secular artists and I don't know how I'll be accepted. I have to trust Him to wait and see. Prayers requested please.
