25.01.2022 Our big chestnut warmblood gelding Ricky jumped well in the 1.35m yesterday at Elysian Fields.

25.01.2022 Lilivale Duet is a little warmblood mare we bred in 2010. She is now owned by Dylan and Louise Greig in Newcastle. They took Dee to the Equestrian NSW Horse of the Year show over the weekend, placing in the Top Ten Large Show Hunter Galloway. Nothing makes us happier than seeing horses we bred getting out to shows and being taken care of so well.

24.01.2022 After 17 years with our old float, we decided it was finally time to upgrade, and figured we should support a local Queensland company during these tough Covid times. A huge thank you to Kara Kar Queensland. for our new four horse float. They even fitted it out with cameras for us so we can watch our precious cargo at all times on the road.

19.01.2022 Our highest prize money earner that we have bred, Endless Days, retired sound today after a very successful career. This is not the end though, but the beginning of his life after racing. Bring on the next chapter for our boy Max. Endless Days: Dane Shadow x Endless Maize $301,075 prize money Born 2013... Owners: Lilivale Stud, Stewart Barr, Jennie Barr, Mrs S J Hulbert, Mr A W Mcgovern, Jez McNamara, Mr A J Thornton, Will Allam, Mr M J Allam, Mr M R Read, P T D Edwards Racing, Easy Mark, Dr A J Welch, Dr S J Gellion, Mr S A Joly, Miss S K Staite See more

18.01.2022 Not to forget, we also breed warmbloods like this gorgeous girl

18.01.2022 So lucky that we get to train our horses at such a beautiful location

17.01.2022 Bred and owned by Lilivale, campaigned by Hayden James of JAMES EQUESTRIAN

15.01.2022 Endless Sizzle has just learnt to swim this week. The first few swimming lessons were a little bit dramatic with huge leaps into the water, but she is becoming an old hand at it more and more with each lesson. #sizzling

12.01.2022 Endless Mystery (Olympic Glory (Ire) x Endless Maize) trained by Stewart Barr won strongly first up with Michael Hellyer yesterday on Melbourne Cup Day at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club. Thanks to Michael for sticking with him after trialling him for us recently. He is a big strong horse with an even bigger personality. Beautiful photos by Trackside Photography

12.01.2022 Truthiz, paddock time following her great first up effort yesterday to run 5th over 1600m.

10.01.2022 Shadow Of Time achieved his 4th win yesterday from just 7 starts. Check out his pricked ears over the line, doing it easy considering he carried 60kg! Trained by @barr.stewart, owned by @jennie_lilivale_ and @kt_barr. @ Sunshine Coast Turf Club

09.01.2022 Forty Niner - the paternal grand sire of our stud matriarch - Endless Maize - died yesterday aged 35. He is the sire of End Sweep - Endless Maize’s sire. Endless Maize is the dam of eight foals with all but one of racing age being winners. Forty Niner has obviously had a strong influence on our ‘Endless’ horses - and on the basis he lived to the ripe old age of 35 - has put some toughness and longevity into our stud. RIP Forty Niner

08.01.2022 Lilivale Stud bred warmblood, Lilivale Duet, is a gorgeous little mare now owned and campaigned by Dylan and Louise Greig. We couldn’t be prouder of how well they look after her and their great consistent results.

07.01.2022 Willy Be Lucky (by Bradbury’s Luck) being a good boy tied up at the pool (dam) after having his afternoon swim Willy had 5 runs last prep for 3 x 2nds, 1 x 3rd and 1 x 4th. Surely due for a win this time in!

07.01.2022 Sunny winter afternoon swims today

06.01.2022 Thrilled with Willy Be Lucky winning his Class 1 over 1650m at Beaudesert today carrying 59kg and paying $21+. We have had to be patient with Willy as he loves to place. 33 starts now for 2 wins, 5 seconds and 5 thirds. He runs consistently well so we knew a second win was going to come eventually. Thanks to Michael Hellyer for a top ride, he is a big horse and can be tiring to ride. But he is a lovely big guy who is a real pleasure to have around the stables and the farm.

05.01.2022 Many thanks to Tegan Harrison for jumping out Shadow Of Time today. It brings on the nostalgic feels for us as Tegan won three races on his mother, Endless Shadow, including the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Handicap back in 2015. Watch today’s jumpout replay, with Tegan and ‘Mickey’ in our red and white colours. https://youtu.be/kJ_JLrzS9mE

04.01.2022 Truthiz by Foxwedge was first up over 1600m yesterday and ran home strongly for 5th. We are thrilled with the run, should be in for a nice prep. Here she is before the race with strapper Jessica Dudley. Trained by Stewart Barr. #BarrRacing

01.01.2022 Gastroscope day here today at the Stewart Barr Racing stables. We had all horses gastroscoped in order to check for stomach ulcers, including our lead pony Flint, pictured here. We have never had Flint checked before, we are pleased to announce he has absolutely perfect gut health despite the fact that we have to restrict his food intake including hay as he is very porky Thanks to North Coast Equine Veterinary Clinic.
