25.01.2022 If you've never tasted Lillydale Estate Pinot Noir, this is the perfect time of year to indulge. So, what is the 2018 like? "Enticing aromas of red berries, plums and cherries. A hint of forest floor and subtle oak. An elegant and excellent example of 'Upper Yarra' style."

We'd like to take a moment to thank you for being such a great supporter of the restaurant which, over the years, has been the location for many special times from birthday celebrations to weddings and so much more.... Established as a quality vineyard in 1974 we are 'getting back to our roots', focusing on creating the best possible wines we can from this unique Yarra Valley site. 10.01.2022 Chardonnay. You may know us from the buzz our Gewürztraminer has been generating around town but we’ve also got a current vintage 2018 chardonnay that is turning heads too. Enticing aromas of nectarine, white peach and apricot danish. Perfectly balanced flavours (we think) combining oak (vanilla, crème brulee, dill), stone fruit and lemon zest, orange peel and wet stone. 20% new oak, 5% malo. From 3 blocks; 2 of which were the original 1974 plantings.... WINE NERD FACT: These vineyards include Penfold 58 and St Huberts clones.

04.01.2022 First review for the newly invigorated Lillydale Estate comes from Winsor Dobbin for our 2018 Gewürztraminer... "It is fresh, vibrant and unmistakably gewurz; with Turkish Delight, pear drop and lychee notes to the fore. There's plenty of length here, and oodles of Asian spice, along with a dry finish. Traditional wisdom says to pair gewurz with spicy Asian dishes, but I reckon this would also work well with cold turkey and stuffing on Boxing Day.
