13.01.2022 Lilly Pilly Cottage was a perfect little farm stay! The cottage was quaint, a true little farm cottage with an awesome log fire. Farmer Ray came to take us eac...h day to feed the animals (alpaca, chooks, horses, sheep, goat ..) and to brush/feed/ride the little pony. We went on the tractor through the vineyards too. The kids absolutely loved it and it was great for them to disconnect to reconnect with nature. Farmer Ray was so hospitable and took joy in watching us get involved in the farm experience. We had soooooo much fun & would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous getaway. We will be back. Thanks for having us Farmer Ray. See more

11.01.2022 Our new additions to Lilly Pilly Farmstay. We thought we lost our calf born on a scorching day and two more scorchers after that. We hunted all day in 41 deg unsuccessfully. Sadly, we had to pick up two orphans to help with the copious amount of milk,little Fe is a brown female Santa Fe and Gus, is a black male Angus. But mamma had her calf safely tucked in the crook of a gum tree. Missy Moo is a great mamma adopting two more and feeding all three calves happily.

09.01.2022 The winery is getting prepped now for our annual harvest next week. All the grapes from the vineyard will be picked be hand, machine crushed into a vat, and then stomped up. 09.01.2022 We have been so fortunate to find this beautiful Jersey cow, Missy Moo, who is expecting her calf in September. We are milking her at the moment but will stop a short time before her new calf is born. Missy Moo is so quiet and agreeable, a sweet addition to Lilly Pilly farm-stay. Did you know, the difference between Jersey cows and other breeds: Jersey A2 Milk contains 18% more protein and 20% more calcium than milk from other breeds of Cow! Yum, love farm fresh milk!
