24.01.2022 Little tip for you today.

23.01.2022 I've recently got myself a new CRM - Dubsado! I'm still very much setting everything up and learning the ropes but this tool is going to be mega for my biz. It can capture leads from my website, automatically send pricelists, quotes, contracts, invoices, you can schedule appointments and it even has the capacity for your clients to have their own portal. I'm so excited to delve into this tool. Anyone else use it? How are you finding it?... Anyone want it? You can check it out through my affiliate link. https://www.dubsado.com/?c=liltlovesdubs

20.01.2022 + Website Maintenance + Hey Folks, the 1st Monday of the Month. Good time to go into your website and do a bit of maintenance. Update your plugins, make sure your links are all working or maybe update some content whilst your there. ... Keep things updated and fresh.

15.01.2022 Hello - I'm Michelle - messy creative, mother of 3 strong-willed children, hater of all domestic duties, lover of adventure, live music and my Kiwi husband. Graphic and Web Designer to Female Bosses around Australia (still waiting for my first international client).

13.01.2022 Wishy-washy Brand or Clear and Compelling brand? Which would you prefer? Which do you think your potential tribe would prefer? If your brand is... * unclear on your message * confused about who you are trying to attract * have disjointed offerings What kind of message do you think your sending to your potential buyers? In fact, I'd say no message at all because those potential raving fans are likely to be scrolling right on by! My top 3 tips would be to get super clear on your brand foundations. 1. Define your why. 2. Get crystal clear on who you are trying to serve. 3. Niche down your offerings. You can find more information here on the brand clarity sessions I run. https://www.liltdesign.com.au/brand-clarity-session/ Michelle x

11.01.2022 Coral has always been one of my absolute favourite colours. So i am really freakin excited about Pantones Colour of the Year for 2019. What do you think. love Coral or not?

11.01.2022 The following logo files are an essential part of your brand toolkit. Make sure any designer you engage is going to give you these, otherwise you may find yourself come unstuck in the future. All logo's should be vector. ... * .eps file & .pdf files are the standard Image-based files * PNG (transparent) and JPG Other files you may get are .ai (the working file) and TIFF. Typically you will get your logo in colour, black and white, inverted and with varying options such as stacked and vertical. Michelle x

10.01.2022 Website Maintenance Once you have your website it is super important to keep it updated. * Go in once a month and update all plugins... * Check any links regularly * Make sure you have backups in place and that it's still working correctly * Add a new blog post every now and then * Make sure you have google analytics and search console installed so you can track visitors to your site. * SEO - Learn about it. Just a few little things to keep you going for now. If reading this to do list made you vomit slightly in your mouth, you can ask me about website maintenance packages. Michelle x

09.01.2022 Selfcare Saturday for me is painting in the garden whilst the girls play nicely in the garden and the boys have gone food shopping.

06.01.2022 Attn: Girl Bosses What's your best tip for running a business with little kids in tow? Hit me!

05.01.2022 God I had a good break over Christmas. I really freakin needed it, I had no idea how much. We camped at the beach, fished, swam, read books, played board games, it was divine. Hell I've even been learning the ukulele, painting and doing as little domestic duties as possible. Life doesn't get more chilled than that!... But that can't last forever. I'm not a planner, i'm not prepared for the year ahead, hell i don't even have a plan for the next month but I do know my business will be even more successful than last year because I work hard for my clients and I make things happen. So here's to making progress this year with or without a plan. Are you a planner or a spontaneous soul? And, did you have a good break, did you get some relaxing done? P.S - 2019 might just be the year I turn full hippie.

05.01.2022 Sometimes in biz you have shitty days and think its all too hard, why bother. Then you read an email from a client like this. #nevergiveup

05.01.2022 So for those still following along Lilt Design has been on hiatus for over 12 months now. A much needed break was in order whilst my family and I navigated moving suburbs, changing schools and more recently for me, starting two new jobs. I am still going to be designing but will be taking on one client at a time. Working 20 hours a week in my other jobs and navigating life as a mum of 3 children and all the relentless ferrying around that entails, means one client at a... time is the only way to stay sane. For those of you that are interested, I am working as the Executive Officer for the Mundaring Chamber of Commerce. I am so thrilled to be able to support local small business in this role, I have always found that very rewarding. Secondly, I am also working as a Graphic Designer for a gourmet perth food delivery company. A very dynamic and expanding company which I am excited to be a part of. We now reside in Stoneville and love living in this beautiful part of the hills. Picture of my sweet groodle girl Billie

04.01.2022 Bright botanicals - I’m in love with that beautiful bright yellow background colour. So cheery! #watercolorfloral #mixedmediaart #brightbotanicals #floralart #proteaart #perthart

03.01.2022 Are you proud as punch of your brand identity? Does it truly reflect you and what you want your business to stand for?

01.01.2022 Hey Ladies Something to ponder. If you struggle creating content for your biz, is it because you don't really have a clue who you are trying to talk to? ... You can write a bit of mumbo jumbo in the hope someone will pick up what you're saying, but how good would it be if you created content that totally nailed your target audiences pain points? Know who you are trying to talk to, like really KNOW them. In a weird stalkerish kind of way. My free worksheet will help you define your ideal audience. Hint: It's not anyone and everyone, the more specific you are, the less wishy-washy your message and branding will be! https://www.liltdesign.com.au/resources/ Let me know how you go with it?
