22.01.2022 A Dad recently emailed me to share his positive experience around his son's 18th birthday party, including a copy of the letter he had written and sent to paren...ts of the invitees, some of whom would be 18 and legally able to drink. I love this letter/invitation and it provides a great template for other parents considering hosting an 18th (or any other event). This week's blog entry includes an edited version of his email, as well as a copy of the letter/invitation and I highlight some of the key points that were included that makes it so good See more

22.01.2022 ARTICLE FOR MENTAL HEALTH: The VAGUS NERVE is the longest nerve in the body and the word 'vagus' means 'wanderer'. In doing research on this nerve I found a v...ery interesting article which explains how by increasing the vagal tone of your vagus nerve you can relax faster after stress. The article explains how some straightforward techniques can increase the tonal nerve, including deep, slow breathing, singing, humming, plus more. Definitely worth a read for your mental health.
