09.01.2022 Pink Ribbon Month 2020 - in full swing @Lily Bliss To You
09.01.2022 It's Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Over 20,000 Australians and more than 3,000 New Zealanders will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Our researchers are... working hard to ensure that every person diagnosed with breast cancer will survive the disease. Today our staff have worn pink at our Breast Cancer Trials head office to mark this important day. Our staff work very hard to support our researchers in their mission to save lives from breast cancer. Our staff collate and analyse clinical trial information and data, support our researchers and institutions in the conduct of clinical trials, raise life-saving funds for breast cancer research and help promote the importance of participating in clinical trials. We are incredibly thankful for the part our staff play in the conduct of clinical trials that save lives. Breast Cancer Trials has been committed to finding new and better treatments for breast cancer for more than 40 years and we currently have seven clinical trials open - learn more about our current research here: https://www.breastcancertrials.org.au/current-clinical-tria

05.01.2022 Mental health is just as important as our physical health. Every day is a day to care for your mental health .
05.01.2022 2020 was painted as the darkest year, but surprisingly it’s turned out for the best in so many challenging ways. In retrospect, these clouds have produced a shining silver lining and MANY valuable lessons ! I wish we could see around corners Onward & Upward
05.01.2022 2020 has been difficult for us all, but for those who have been diagnosed with cancer, it may have felt even more isolating. Psychologist Associate Professor Le...sley Stafford joined our online Q&A last month to address the mental health impacts a breast cancer diagnosis can have and how you can access help. She reminded our viewers that they were not alone, told us how much is too much when it comes to anxiety, when and how to seek help if you're feeling depressed and why it is so important to look after your mental health. She provided some excellent resources in her presentation and gave some great self-care tips. Tune in and let us know in the comments what you find helpful when your mental health isn't in a great way.

01.01.2022 Buy this diary to fund research that will save the lives of people affected by breast cancer.
01.01.2022 This downloadable pdf is quite good. It is an not so 'indirect' advertisement for a specific compression garment , but there are more tips and education then advertising and just in general some well explained stuff about managing and understanding Lymphoedema One of the annoying side effects that effects for 20 % of women after breast cancer surgery. A chronic long term condition that can occur at any time, even many years afterwards and requires constant slef care and learning to manage and importantly to slow its progression and avoid life threatening infections and irreavesable tissue damage. Reading resurces like this is a good way to learn tips & trick to help manage.
