12.01.2022 A group from the Lilydale Club attended the Prize Meeting and 1000 Yard Shoot at Rosedale on the Weekend. These were the rifles in use over the 2 days. We had a lot of fun even though the wind was typical Rosedale :)

07.01.2022 The proportions are the real challenge in controlling the eye. The actual target area, the white ring between the ring and the black spot, is only about 0.1 m...m in diameter. The thickness of this ring is 0.01 - 0.02 mm. Or between 4 and 8 photoreceptors on the retina. These small areas must be precisely controlled, recognized and processed by the eye. And that with every shot, regardless of fatigue, excitement or other disturbances. Die Größenverhältnisse sind die eigentliche Herausforderung bei der Steuerung des Auges. Die tatsächliche Zielfläche, der weiße Ring nämlich zwischen Ring und Spiegel, hat nur etwa 0,1 mm Durchmesser. Die Dicke dieses Rings beträgt 0,01 - 0,02 mm.
