21.01.2022 Lilydale Bowling Club - Clubrooms and Bar opening Thursday 29th Oct. G’day All... The good news is that we are authorised to reopen our venue. Members will have access to the club rooms and all facilities from Thursday 29th October when our bar will also open from 4.00pm. We have been authorised to reopen under strict protocols. Members are asked to assist the requirements by meeting the following COVID 19 protocols which include: Members and visitors are NOT to attend the club should you any COVID 19 symptom. Entry is limited to the door adjacent to the office. All must complete the attendance register on entering the building (and sanitise hands) Sanitise hands on a regular basis (sanitisation stations have been placed in locations both internally and externally) Before entering the toilet, hands are to be sanitised and prior to leaving thoroughly washed. Please refer to signage throughout the building which displays the required levels of hygiene etiquette expected. After using the kitchen all items used and surfaces are to be cleaned. Bar facilities will initially be open at the following times. Thursday 4.00pm to 7.00pm Friday 4.00pm to 6.30pm Saturday 4.00pm to 6.30pm Monday 4.00pm to 6.30pm To be compliant with the limitations imposed on patrons that can be served, we will be utilising the main bar area, the back room and the deck. BOOKING TO RESERVE A SEAT IS RECOMMENDED by either return email ([email protected]) of phoning on 0499 555053. Reservations will be confirmed. Those using the bar facilities are asked to comply with the above standards and respect the following: Drinks can only be consumed while being seated at the designated tables. Tables and seating have been placed to meet social distancing requirements. They cannot be moved. We ask members to use their Members Cards to run tabs which are to be cleared before leaving. We also ask that on leaving you assist the bar staff by cleaning the area you have occupied. (Cleaning items will be located at the bar). Look forward to seeing you all after our time in isolation. 20.01.2022 Mooroolbark Bowls Club is hosting the DIVISION GRAND FINAL for Metropolitan Div 1 between CROYDON and LILYDALE on Saturday 10 April 2021 at 1.00 pm. Food and refreshments will be available, including a coffee van on-site.... Please come along to enjoy what is sure to be a great competition for 'bragging rights' as the Premier Club in the Eastern Ranges Region. Spectators from all Clubs are welcome.

11.01.2022 Social Bowls (Lilydale Bowling Club) Transition from Monday Summer Bowls To Monday Winter Bowls Monday March 29th will be our last Summer Monday Bowls game.... We will have no Monday Bowls on Easter Monday April 5th and commence Monday Winter Bowls on April 12th. Format will be 3 Bowls Triples 2 games of 10 ends with the same prize format. We will be supplying Hot Cup of Soup(make your own) and crusty bread (supplies in cliplock bags). Heaps of raffles with a door prize ($30 meat voucher) Form a team of 3 or single entry. Entry can be made on sheet will be near the Treasurers Box or by phoning Jeff on 0407 270 173. Look forward to seeing you. 03.01.2022 MONDAY SOCIAL BOWLS IS BACK Commencing Monday November 9th Start time will be 12.00Noon 3 Bowls Triples. 2 games of 10 ends Entry fee $7.00... Due to the strict covid 19 restrictions we will limit the number of Bowlers to 36 ( 12 teams of 3) We are unable to supply food or water , so you will need to supply your own. Bottled water will be available for purchase. We have placed sanitiser in various locations and we request that you sanitise regularly.. There will be strict seating arrangements that you will need to adhere to. We hope to supply tea and coffee for you. You will need to make a booking prior as there will not be any entry sheet at the club initially. These are tough times and we are doing our best to navigate our way through the regulations.
