05.01.2022 Here’s 3 tips that help me create more balance within my day to day movements: ACCOUNTABILITY - I find it so much easier to stay on top of my training when I’m locked into something! This may be booking in for a bootcamp or even having a training buddy! I love surrounding myself with positive, encouraging people who love to smash out a great workout! It keeps me motivated and on top of my game! #healthycompetition ... LISTENING TO YOUR BODY - it’s normal to have days where a hard training sesh might just not be possible. It may be because your muscles are too sore, you feel bloated or just too exhausted! We all put so much pressure on ourselves, but I’ve slowly learnt to not feel guilty about taking it easy or having a rest day! It’s important to focus on yourself, listen to your body and take a recovery day when needed! BALANCED APPROACH TO NUTRITION - Having a healthy and smart relationship with food is extremely important as it’s the dominant factor towards the way you feel, act, perform and move. Adding excess amounts of stress to the way you eat can be tiring and can overall hinder your progress. By having balance and eating foods you enjoy in moderation to a wholesome intake is extremely important for sustainable and long term progress.
