18.01.2022 Raising 2 young daughters (4yrs and 14mths) is by far the most challenging and rewarding thing I have done in my life. Trying to give them 100% of my focus and attention often meant that everything else at home suffered. Washing would pile up, dinner was unplanned and thrown together and housework was a foreign concept. I knew it couldn’t go on and started to really look at the way I structured my days. First step was to declutter. Every night, after girls were asleep, I pic...ked a room and got rid of stuff I was holding onto but no longer served a purpose. Finishing a room was immediately gratifying and was enough to prompt me to keep going. Next, was creating a weekly meal plan, then writing up my shopping list based on the required ingredients. I immediately saw a reduction of the weekly shopping bill and a reduction in wasted food. Lastly was creating a housework schedule, including a seperate laundry planner. Doing this meant that I only needed to set aside around 30 minutes a day to ensure my home stayed clean and organised. This is why I started this business. If it weren’t for doing the above, I’d still feel like I was drowning and I want to help others feel the freedom I now feel. Have some tips of your own?
