21.01.2022 Happy New Year! Is it just me who's having a hard time to get back into the rhythm of working? The kids are having their lunch now, DIY sushi with avocado and my Mum's veggie fritters. All served on the divided plates. A bit messy but it's one of their favourite meals. #limalimes #limalimeseco #bamboodinnerware #bamboodividedplate #diysushi #kidslunchideas #kidsdiysushi

18.01.2022 Do you think they've got enough parmesan cheese on their ravioli? The kids are going through a cheese phase. Has this ever happened to your kids? Does it go away after a while? Dinner tonight is beef ravioli with garlic burnt butter sauce, so easy to make. All done in 15 minutes. #limalimes #limalimeseco #bamboobowls #kidsdinnerideas #beefravioli #kidspasta #easykidsmeals

17.01.2022 These two bamboo bowls are probably the ones we use the most at home. The small bamboo bowl is the perfect size for snacks and side dishes. While the regular bamboo bowl is so useful for serving mains. Which one do you use the most? Our eco-friendly bamboo dinnerware are made for kids. They're just the right sizes for kids' meals, with simple pastel colours so the focus is on the food! #limalimes #limalimeseco #ecofriendlyliving #sustainableparents #bamboobowls

14.01.2022 What do you do with lunch box leftovers? I really hate wasting food, so I give them to the kids as part of their afternoon tea (I chuck away anything that don't look great). #limalimeseco #LimaLimes #bambootableware #easytoclean #lunchboxleftovers #kidssnacks #afterschoolsnack

09.01.2022 Walnut banana bread with Nutella and strawberries. A bit decadent for breakfast, but hey it's the weekend! Are you more of a sweet or savoury breakfast kind of person? I'm using the bamboo deep plate, with a higher edge, it prevents food from falling off the plate (believe me, this happens a lot when your kids are learning eating skills!). 09.01.2022 Home made sweet and sour pork with rice, corn and pear on the side. Do you serve your fruits together with your mains? I started doing this when we used the bamboo divided plate, and now the kids are used to it. #limalimeseco #limalimes #bambootableware #bambooplates #sustainableparents
05.01.2022 What happens when you have a whole head of cauliflower, and you need a new idea so the kids will eat them? I made battered fried cauliflower this time using my regular batter mix recipe. So easy to make! And you can basically use any veggie and dump it into the batter. What you need:... 1/2 head of cauliflower or 1 whole head if it's a small one Batter mix: 3/4 cup plain flour 3 tbs corn/potato starch 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp tumeric (optional) 1 tsp salt (can omit this if you'd prefer sprinkling it on) 3/4 cup of water Instructions: 1. Cut cauliflower to similar bite size 2. Mix batter mix 3. Heat about 2-3cm of oil on medium heat (to test if it's hot enough, drop a few drops of the batter mix, it should immediately sizzle) 4. Coat the cauliflower into the batter mix, and deep fry. It will take about 4-5 minutes to cook. Don't overcrowd, you may need to turn it around so they're evenly cooked. Let me know if you make it! #limalimes #limalimeseco #limalimesdinnerware #bambooplates #cauliflowerrecipes #friedcauliflower #batteredcauliflower #hiddenveggies
