23.01.2022 PLEASE HELP I have been droughted since 2011/12 in the Flinders shire, been rorted by the banks, now I have devastating floods, the grants being offered to the ...primary producers is only going to help the ones that have money in the bank. I have just lost many of my steers, cull heifers and cows to this flood, these were to be fattened and sold in 2019. I now have no income for the year. I do not have the finances to be able to purchase more stock, nor do I have the finances to purchase the materials to repair the fences. http://www.qrida.qld.gov.au//Guideline-Cat-C-Special-Disas The criteria for the grants is unbelievable. Purchasing livestock or materials is out of the question for me, because I can’t pay upfront for them. To be eligible for the grant money, you have to present invoices and proof of payment for the purchase of livestock and materials.
