23.01.2022 NO FOOD ALLOWED :( Unfortunately this year we can't allow picnics of consumption of food in our orchard. Luckily, there are PLENTY of lovely parks, cafe's, restaurants and takeaways in nearby Bathurst! ... *Did someone say Annie's Icecream?* Bringing drinking water is fine, please take your rubbish with you. 20.01.2022 Sofala and this quaint pub are an easy 15 minute drive from our orchard. There’s also a great cafe Painted Horse Cafe Sofala, playground and local goldrush history to be enjoyed!

20.01.2022 No smoking on our farm. We have to insist on no smoking on our farm, this means both in the orchard and car park area. If you smoke in your car, please never throw your cigarette butt out the window while driving. ... In these dry, hot and windy conditions it’s really important to be fire safe and aware.

11.01.2022 Blossoms v Cherries? I’m having trouble deciding whether I love blossom time more than cherry time? What’s your vote?

07.01.2022 Just about perfect.... One more week of sunshine to get them sweet and juicy and ready for picking!

06.01.2022 No bookings needed. Our orchard doesn’t take bookings, just come on in on our open day Saturday 30 November. It hasn’t been a great season this year thanks to the drought, so we don’t have much fruit and we will likely sell out quickly! ... To avoid disappointment come Saturday and come early. We open at 10am.

05.01.2022 Cherries $10 per Kilo For those asking, our cherries are sold $10 per kilo, strictly pick your own. We don’t have any pre-packed boxes of cherries for sale, picking them is all part of the fun! And you get to pick the very best ones you can find!... The drought is going to make cherries more scarce and expensive this year, so we think this is a pretty good deal! We provide the bags for you to pick them in, then weigh them and box them for you to take home!

05.01.2022 We’re lucky to still have a little green on the ground at our farm. Unlike a lot of our neighbours who are looking at a very dry and difficult summer ahead. We don’t have any livestock so we sometimes share our bottom paddocks with neighbours to give theirs a rest.... Even though it’s brown and dusty, it’s still a beautiful view.

04.01.2022 A teeny bit of rain has definitely helped things green up... but everyone around our area could use loads more rain... And while it may look green and healthy now, it has been a really dry winter and this will definitely have an impact on the volume and size of our crop.

04.01.2022 DON'T FORGET YOUR BUCKET This year we are not able to supply bags or buckets for picking, please bring your own container to pick cherries into. Containers with handles are preferred to make weighing easier!

02.01.2022 YOU KNOW THE DRILL We're all familiar with the new reality of physical distancing and hand sanitiser now, and the same goes when you come to our orchard! Please maintain physical distancing from those not in your party, and sanitise your hands often!... Thank you!
