23.01.2022 CHRISTMAS CLOSURE Crystal, Shawn, Anita and Kirsty would like to wish all their clients a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Please be aware that the practice will be closed from Friday December 20th until Monday January 6th. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. ... Exciting things are in store for 2020! The Christmas closure marks the beginning of Crystal’s maternity leave with baby #2 due to arrive in late January. We are pleased to announce that Dr Janette Gibbs will be returning to cover her leave again from January until July. When we reopen in the new year it will be as ‘Limestone Coast Chiropractic’! We will also have a new website up and running which will allow online booking. Perfect for those people thinking about their chiropractic appointments out of hours!

22.01.2022 UPDATE As the corona virus pandemic continues to evolve so does the way we are practicing at LLC. At present Chiropractic practices are permitted to remain open as an essential service and for now we are choosing to continue on. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our town but unfortunately it is only a matter of time. 13.01.2022 Update: Dr Janette is hoping to make the trip over to start her locum on January 20th but we are still unsure at this stage as she is still waiting on roads to be cleared to be able to access her property which is 40 km out of Corryong Victoria. We are crossing our fingers for her and Noel that her property was spared from the bush fires. 12.01.2022 Dr Janette has arrived! Sadly Janette’s home was lost in the Corryong fires but she is happy to be in familiar Naracoorte where she is looking forward to getting back into practice. While Janette truly appreciates everyone’s concern regarding what she has been through these past few weeks she prefers not to focus on what has been lost and would rather not discuss the fires while she is consulting. For those who are not familiar with Dr J from her last locum in 2018 she is a fabulous chiropractor with 40 years experience in practice! She will be consulting on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays until Crystal returns from maternity leave in early July. For those clients who love their dry needling Janette is for you!

10.01.2022 Current Practice Policy (Effective from May 2020) Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic the way in which we work at LCC has changed until further notice. This policy has been implemented to keep our clients, our staff and our community safe. We appreciate that our clients adhere to the following recommendations:... Please do not attend the practice if you have any symptoms of cold or flu including a fever, cough, sore throat or runny nose. You will be asked to leave if you are exhibiting any of these symptoms. Please do not attend the practice if you have travelled overseas within the last 14 days. If you have travelled interstate within the last 14 days please advise our staff. Travel across the border from Western Victoria to attend your appointment at LCC is considered essential travel and is permitted however if you have travelled from other states we may advise that you delay booking for 14 days. Please do not enter the clinic until 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. Only the individual with the appointment booked should enter the practice, except in the case of a booking for a child in which case a guardian may be present Hand sanitizer is available for your use on the front counter. Due to the fastidious sanitation measures required between each client we are currently unable to offer use of our 'traction' massage bed prior to your consultation. Some adjustments that require particularly close face-to-face contact between the patient and practitioner (Such as ‘anterior thoracic’ manoeuvres) may not be able to be performed. This is at the discretion of the treating practitioner. We ask that accounts be settled via EFTPOS. Cash is not accepted. Our opening hours are currently variable based on demand week to week. The website means that we are now able to offer online booking, very handy for those who think about their chiropractic appointments out of hours! Please be aware that NOT ALL AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT TIMES ARE OFFERED ONLINE. If you do not see a time that suits you please phone the practice and we will see if we can find something to accomodate you. As with phone bookings we do require 24 hours notice for cancellations and non attendance without prior notice may incur a fee.

Dr Shawn McLindon has recently moved to the Coonawarra with his family and is looking forward to being a long term member in the practice here at Biomechanic Chiropractic. Shawn has been in practice for 21 years and has managed several of his own chiropractic and multidisciplinary clinics. 02.01.2022 Dear clients, Regretfully we have to inform you that we will not be open tomorrow. Dr Janette has been affected by the Victorian bushfire crisis and is unable to make the trip over to start her locum. Thankfully Janette and her husband Noel are safe. They had to evacuate their property at Corryong and are unable to return at this stage. The information available to them currently is limited and they do not know if their home has been lost. Our thoughts and prayers are w...ith Janette and everyone affected by the bushfires throughout Victoria, NSW and SA, including those locally in Keilira who have lost property and homes. A big thanks to Dr Shawn who is extending his hours this week so that those who were already booked in this week and those who left messages over the Christmas closure can be seen. (For those with current appointments to see Janette on Thursday the 9th Kirsty will be contacting you all on Tuesday morning to reschedule you.
