21.01.2022 Growing up as kids in the eighties in Malta, people were still wary of using ovens, so we remember our grandmas preparing dishes of meat laid on potatoes, onions and veggies, covered with wine and a cloth every Sunday morning. This would be taken to the local bakery before church, to be baked in the still hot ovens. All the different families would cook their food in the same bakery, can’t beat that for community spirit! After church, the food would be picked up, and taken ...home for a good feed with copious amounts of wine! Introducing Limestone Sunday Lunches!!
