Such a treat to have these on our shelf .. we can't wait to hear what you think of them! We're open from 9am - 4pm all weekend!

16.01.2022 Last Friday was very special for our staff member Nicole who after a long countdown, married her man Corey in a beautiful garden ceremony in front of a small group of her nearest and dearest and a zoom call to family in Victoria. As we expected, Nicole was the most beautiful bride, Corey looked so handsome, the bridal party were stunning and the location at the Umpherston Gardens didn't disappoint either .. so lush and green this time of year! We wish Nicole and Corey the ...most wonderful married life together full of love and happiness. Love your Pantry family

14.01.2022 It's that time of the year again and the Pantry has been busy making our famous Christmas Puddings and Christmas Cakes which you may have seen hanging around and on the shelves throughout the Pantry! The Puddings are available in 4 different sizes - 220g, 1kg, 2kg & 3kg in both regular or gluten free. Our Christmas Cakes have been packaged in two sizes 220g and 500g cakes - ready to enjoy with a cuppa or glass of something festive ... Come and collect a pudding now or take the stress out of the festive season and order your pudding ahead!

13.01.2022 Not often seen as they work tirelessly behind the scenes, but Lee and Lachie are so important to the running of the Pantry! We managed to sneak a photo of them all dressed up at a staff members wedding at the end of last year. You would recognise Lee as she is everywhere around the Pantry - keeping our shelves stocked, bringing you meals, helping in the kitchen, working with Lachie making our delicious preserves and is a general sweetheart to all of us. Lachie is Lyn's son... and what he doesn't know about preserving is perhaps not worth knowing. Lachie manages our wholesale orders and loves nothing more than travelling around (pre-Covid) spruiking our preserve range. He has been known to go into great detail with customers while discussing tasting notes of our products! We love these two - lucky we managed a photo of these workmates together! James has done so much for the Jazz world, Jazz Education and locally for Mount Gambier through the James Morrison Academy of Music at Uni SA that several local music students have attended, not to mention the huge role he has played in Generations In Jazz. We've thoroughly enjoyed all the shows at the Pantry and those that have attended would agree with the ...quality of performance and the great stories and humour that often accompany those performances. 10.01.2022 What a roller coaster ride SA - we certainly didn't anticipate that and expecting to close for 6 days, our fresh food was either given away or discarded. We simply cannot flip the switch from closed to open quickly and re-stock our own Pantry in time to welcome you tomorrow morning. It's with heavy hearts we let you know that the Pantry will be re-opening again on Wednesday 25th November in line with our normal opening hours where we are closed Monday and Tuesday. The enorm...ous amount of pressure on our staff to prep the Pantry and our local suppliers to provide our stock when we can't be on the premises until after midnight is not viable. We know we will lose money - it's just a terrible situation for us all. We know you expect the best experience we can give you, and we want to be able to offer you our full menu including the beautiful fresh food you love and we hope to see you in the Pantry again on Wednesday when we open again .. fully stocked from 9am! Please make sure you get out there in the next few days and support the wonderful cafe's and hospitality businesses in Mount Gambier .. this has been a very difficult 'pause' for hospitality in an extremely challenging year! We are fully stocked with all three brands each offering a different unique taste profile - Beetique Honey, Pine Ridge Honey and Greenhills Raw Honey + we have beeswax wraps which are a great eco alternative to plastics. ... We open this morning from 9am and our shelves are stocked with delicious and beautiful products!

09.01.2022 Thanks so much to everyone that came along to the Space Jams Festival on Saturday! We were treated to awesome local music by Emily Ackland with her stellar vocals and the Stokes boys representing the local area + amazing bands from Adelaide - Lilac Cove - loved your vocals, vibe and incense, Rob Edwards Music, and getting the guests up and dancing Wanderers. Unfortunately a band member from Chelsea Manor was very sick and they had to cancel their appearance, but legends Dojo Rise hot tailed it to Mount Gambier 24 hours early, rocked up at the Pantry and 10 minute later were up and on stage with everyone dancing! What a night! Thanks so much to Josh Morphett for organising the Space Jams Festival and bringing it to the Limestone Coast!

Perfect for sending overseas - they will love the Australian animals decking their halls! Also new in the Pantry are cards from ...The Culinary Card Company that are so beautiful you could frame them. We have over 30 different designs in these scattered throughout the Pantry. What makes these so special is they are not just a card, but also include a recipe on the front.
