We understand that parking is a little bit of an issue at the moment but have secured the use of 15 spaces in the undercover facilities accross the road in the George Thorn Centre for your convenience. Please try there first or if that is full Thorn street and Milford Street have free parking and Limestone and Brisbane Streets have metered parking for your use. This is a temporary issue that will be resolved as soon as we move into our new building. the date for move seems to be early Decemeber so watch out for the changes happening........ exciting times for LMC

05.01.2022 Hello everyone for those of you that have not yet been to the new practice I have uploaded a couple of images to share with you all. If you drive up Brisbane Street you will now see that the old building has been completely demolished. This has caused many mixed emotions amongst us all but we are all very excited with the progress and development of the new building. In the place of our old building a new building will be erected to mirror the look of where we have relocated too and will be host to QML pathology, a chemist and a caf. There are also opportunities for other medical professionals to lease upstairs. Come in and check out the new facilities. Same Doctors and staff but with better space to care for all your medical needs.

04.01.2022 There has certainly been some media attention regarding the recent Hepatitis outbreak coming from the Nanas frozen berries 1 kg pack. We would like to advise that if anyone has eaten these and are suffering symptoms including but not limited too abdominal pain, nausea, fever, chills, yellow skin or eyes then you should call the surgery and book an appointment to see your GP. We cannot give advice without a full examination so please refrain from asking reception staff for their opinion as they cannot offer you this. Our GPs will be more than happy to consult with you and screen/test as necessary. LMC staff

This expansion to telehealth means that people will now have... access to essential health services in their home. This will support self-isolation and quarantine policies to reduce the risk of exposure and spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and will also help vulnerable doctors to continue to deliver services.
