24.01.2022 **CHANGES TO CLIENT SESSIONS** We’re pleased to announce that we are now offering face-to-face sessions but with STRICT guidelines in place. Here’s what the new sessions will look like:... Social distancing (1 parent/caregiver, 1 child, and 1 therapist per session) Washing/ sanitising hands before and after each session Texting your therapist to let them know you’ve arrived for your appointment. Your therapist will advise when it is safe to enter the clinic and check yours and your child’s temperature to ensure those coming into our waiting room are well. Encouraging parents to keep children home and/or rescheduling the appointment to a telehealth session if you or your child are unwell or coughing/sneezing. Completing a client screening checklist when you and your child arrive for the session. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients and families for your continued patience, understanding and cooperation during what has certainly been an interesting time for us all. 23.01.2022 ** COVID-19 UPDATE ** Re: Victorian clients Hi everyone, we hope you are all keeping safe and well. As the COVID situation continues to unfold and change on a daily basis, we wanted to reach out and share our current safety measures with regards to Victorian clients.... For now, our clinics will not be offering face-to-face sessions for those clients currently residing in Victoria, including those with an exemption to cross the SA/VIC border. This was not an easy decision for us but was made based on the following information: there are active Covid-19 cases in towns close to the border (Horsham and Portland) there is a high level of community transmission of Covid-19 in Victoria the Covid-19 situation in Victoria is not improving (374 new cases confirmed today) there are currently no active cases of Covid-19 in the Limestone Coast region However, we CAN still safely offer the following services to our valued Victorian clients: Home program Online consults These temporary measures will remain in place until the Covid-19 crisis in Victoria improves and there are no active cases of Covid-19 recorded in towns close to the border. We look forward to resuming all face-to-face sessions as soon as possible. 20.01.2022 **COVID-19 UPDATE** As of Wednesday 25th March (that’s today!), our therapists will no longer be visiting or running sessions at schools in the Limestone Coast region. This measure has been put in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients, families, teachers and therapists. ... We just can not risk your safety. However, we are continuing to provide the following: Online telehealth sessions In-home programs that you can follow In-person sessions at our clinics (following strict protocols) We will continue to closely monitor the situation as it unfolds and follow the most up to date advice of the Australian Government. 19.01.2022 **IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE** ALL sessions will be held online as of Monday 30th March With each passing day, we are receiving newly revised guidelines from the Australian Government about how to best manage the COVID-19 situation. These new measures have been put in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients, families and staff. ... This means that from Monday we can no longer see clients face to face. This includes all clinic consultations and school visits. Instead, we’ll be moving to TELEHEALTH sessions via the online platform Coviu. Through the magic of technology we’ll be able to connect with you and your family with just a click of a button. Sessions can be held via video or phone and will ensure continuity of care for your child during this unusual and challenging time. #socialdistancing #stayhome

06.01.2022 ** COVID-19 UPDATE ** As South Australia is about to head into a 6 day lockdown, we have been trying to work out whether we are able to remain open. Our speech pathologists are still working but we are not allowed to provide face-to-face consultations. We will however be able to provide online consultations during this time.
