20.01.2022 Ending this unique year with a fun #TopNine photo grid and a summary review of the year 2020, with a reflection of where we’ve come from... LTB started off as a side hustle back in Dec 2014, before I took the leap to chasing dreams full-time in 2017. It’s been so cool and humbling to see how it’s evolved and grown since then. We’ve expanded our repertoire from just wedding flowers, to full service wedding planning, styling & coordination, and to workshops and corporate... event & private celebrations!! In around 2018, I realised I could no longer continue being a one-woman show, it was unsustainable and I wanted to do more. That meant building a team, learning how to teach, mentor & delegate - Brenna has been a part of the team since that year and a core part of LTB’s growth. She’s now our Event Manager and is key in every one of our events’ production and planning success! Beyond Brenna, this year of all years, we unbelievably hired two casuals Nerija and Mina! Brenna has taken Nerija under her event wing, whilst I’ve taken Mina under mine - I realised throughout the year that I didn’t have enough brain energy and time to do all the things all the time (socials, workshops, strategy, admin & bookkeeping, web stuff, marketing etc). Realising that you can’t do it all (as much as you’d like to) and need help is incredibly difficult as a founder but so important. I’m so excited for us to be working as a team in 2021!! Despite many postponements this year, we still achieved some amazing milestones in the form of having a stellar turn out for Flourish (our two day floristry workshop), and some epic weddings we planned, styled and designed from scratch. We are incredibly thankful to all our 2020 clients and those that postponed with new dates for 2021+ PLUS new clients we’re excited to design for! To close out 2020 and this essay of a post, I want to express a heartfelt thank you to you all.
