24.01.2022 Back with my little bestie after a couple of weeks off. Missed this chick so much. Thank you to our amazing group of support workers that were able to help out with a few days and the extra activities you did with Cassie. She loved every minute of it and I really appreciate you helping out Thank you especially to Cassies amazing family for being so understanding after my husband being stuck at work for 4 months. We’ve been spending time as a family and that’s just what we ...needed after so long xx I got the biggest cuddle from Cassie when I picked her up from work today. She didn’t want to let go Then we snuck in an iced coffee and a sneaky piece of cake for afternoon tea. We have not stopped talking. I’ve really missed her so much

23.01.2022 For those of you who know the one and only beautiful Cassie Bonomo you would know she loves a good cooking show. Especially Masterchef We were at the checkout in coles and Cass saw the MKR grocery bag and thought she needed it as it was the last one hanging there. Who was I to stop her We proceeded to chat to the lady serving us at the checkout and Cass got chatting as she loves a good chat too. ... The lady asked about Cassie liking cooking shows as she overheard us talking about the mkr bag and Cass piped up and said Masterchef is her favourite and she loves cooking. I then said she’d love to actually go on Masterchef one day. The lady stopped and said don’t leave, stay there, I’ll be back. We waited as she rummaged through some drawers and came back to present Cass with this beautiful Masterchef pin. Cassie just had the most beaming smile on her face. She was soooooo happy A big thank you was said and we got outside to take a pic straight away. (First 3 pics were taken at coles and pink jumper when her mum stopped in) She was so happy and it was the first thing she showed her mum tonight when she stopped in to visit her after work. So a massive shoutout to Kylie at Coles Redcliffe for going above what you’re employed to do to make Cassies day. You are an amazing customer service worker and I hope more people in the world can learn to be as kind as you were today. It’s the little gestures that count The last pic is of today too when I picked Cassie up from her golunteer job at a daycare. She was so stoked she was given a badge that says volunteer. This chick is moving forward in her life so fast and I’m so proud of her Keep pushing yourself Cass. You’re a champion and I’m so proud of you

23.01.2022 Cassie and I had to pop back into coles to get cocoa powder as we forgot it yesterday. I’m glad I did because for everyone that read my post yesterday about a lovely coles staff member making cassies day. Well this here is the wonderful and kind Kylie from coles Redcliffe. Lol just realised cassies eyes are closed. She must have blinked

20.01.2022 Yesturday Alex and Ebony completed Term 3 in the Happy Paws Happy Hearts Program at RSPCA. Each Tuesday we get to spend the morning learning and spending time with different animals. Alex and Ebony have done an amazing job at learning, being focused and having fun this past term and we are very proud of their achievements so far. We look forward to what the next term holds. Congratulations Ebony and Alex.

17.01.2022 Yesterday we had a lovely walk with our Big Al and Miss Ebony. Along the way we saw quite a few different signs and teddies that we checked out and read what they said. Messages thanking police, paramedics, doctors, teachers and farmers through these harder times. Such a great idea. Then home to make sausage rolls for lunch ... #coronavirus

The joys of pure excitement coming from each athlete as they feel like they have accomplished things they never thought was possible. You have out done yourselves and have made all of us proud of your achievements. It wasn’t about how much weight was on the bar. It was the determination you put behind it and believed you could.

15.01.2022 The best part of supporting these beautiful people everyday has been watching them form unbreakable friendships with each other. Each of them has grown so much just in the past year and has accomplished things they never thought they could. But having each of their friends by there side makes things so much more rewarding. I wouldn’t change any of you for the world, but I would change the world for you.

13.01.2022 Today we had the privilege of celebrating Beautiful Cooper’s 20th birthday today. We had a surprise visit from a Fire and rescue truck this morning. Lost of games and dancing and also hair colouring done by Cooper. Happy Birthday Coops. Thank you for blessing us all with your beautiful presence and your infectious laugh.

07.01.2022 Today we had the pleasure of celebrating Ebonys birthday This chick turned 20 today and even though we haven’t known her for long we feel like we’ve known her forever. She is part of our family now ... Lani Parkinson and I have the pleasure of working with her since October 2019 along with Nicole Richmond and Ally Wharehinga who have know Ebs for longer. We are so glad we have an amazing team working with each other to make sure Ebony achieves everything she possibly can in her life. And a massive thank you from all 4 of us to Ebs amazing Mum Raelene Johnson and Dad, Paul for entrusting us with Ebony. You guys are AMAZING. I hope you had an awesome day surrounded by your friends and family. We all had a ball Happy Birthday Ebs. Love ya, Shelly and Lani

07.01.2022 Loving our new logo right now :-) It's a friendship bracelet and it depicts us and our beautiful clients holding an end each of the friendship bracelet. Basically saying that we will always be right there in friendship with them :-) What does everyone think???? We want your feedback please? We are going to order some shirts, drink bottles, tote bags etc if anyone is interested. Let us know.

01.01.2022 Back to RSPCA Happy Paws program for Ebony and Alex today. YAY We got to meet the trainers gorgeous greyhound, Sissy and another beautiful dog up for adoption. We got to take them for a walk and saw some cows along the way. Alex was like the cow whisperer as they all came running down to him at the fence. He pat them all. ... We had 3 little mice to play with, met a horse and a chicken in the farm section today too. Was so nice to be back and Alex & Ebby loved it. Anytime Ebony didn’t know the answer to something there was lots of Aaahhhh Nope She’s so funny (Pics of trainers dog, mice, cows, horse only as we can’t post pics of other dog)
