17.01.2022 This one recipe makes all these delicious biscuits, so easy and everyone will love them. Recipe: 5 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup vegetable oil... Rind on one lemon Two tablespoons lemon juice 600 grams SR flour . Method. Mix oil, eggs , sugar , lemon rind and juice well. Slowly add flour . With wet palms of your hands Shape into small balls and coat them in lots of icing sugar . Dry your hands and shape into oval shapes pressing icing sugar firmly so they are totally covered or shape them round and push a glaze cherry in the middle. ( see photo) Place on tray lined with baking paper and bake at 200c until slightly golden . You can’t go wrong . Use same recipe again but add 200 grams of flour so dough is not too soft and can be rolled with rolling pin until thin , use more flour on board so pastry doesn’t stick, cut into round shapes, fill with Nutella and fold into little pasties , press the ends with a fork to seal them , or cut into a circle, place Nutella in middle and top with another piece of circle pastry. Ensure ends are sealed well , you can brush with a little milk to help them stick together. For heart shaped just use heart biscuit cutter and once cold dip half the biscuit in melted dark chocolate. ( melt chocolate chips in microwave for 60 seconds) For jam filled, cut into large triangles, place a teaspoon of jam near the wide end of the triangle and roll like a small croissant .
