25.01.2022 Day 1 of the #LLF6weekkickstartchallenge done. Working around a family can be hard but you need to find the time if you are serious about making a change. I smashed this session out during my babies morning nap.... Trained and showered before he woke up. I did have intentions of getting up an hour earlier this morning but someone had other plans for me I feel SO GOOD now!!! 30mins is all you need.

21.01.2022 ***THAT'S A WRAP*** 2020 has been a massive year! There is so much to reflect on. Covid aside, I feel very blessed to how my year has turned out. ... In March we purchased our first home, in May we welcomed out beautiful son into this world, in July my studio turned one and the entire year I have been so lucky to have the men and women I train. When covid hit, I was so grateful that so many of you were happy to experience virtual training, then once gyms reopened my heart filled with so much joy from everyones excitement to return to classes. Thank you to all my fitness stars for your beautiful patience and for, most importantly, bringing 110% to every session. A huge thank you goes to my amazing team. Kasey and Deb. We are like Charles Angels but in the fitness world ;) Deb has made a huge move to the outback and she has been a blessing to have at LLF. Kasey completed her Cert III at the beginning of the year and is just about to finish her Cert IV to becoming a Personal Trainer. She is wonderful and will do amazing things in 2021. Thanks for your amazing work and effort throughout the year Kase. This year has been tough for so many and my heart hurts for those who have suffered. There may be very few curse words and some complaining BUT they still come back. Why? 18.01.2022 I LOVE MY JOB. What I love the most is when I see this awesome gang smash out almost 1,000 reps in 30mins. These ladies don't slack off when I set the bar high, I secretly think they love the challenge - "more burpees" they ask!!! ... Its so easy to slack off but they don't. Every day, even on the days they aren't feeling it, they still rock up and still hit the ball out of the park. Well done ladies #proudPTmoment

18.01.2022 I was talking to a friend the other day (also fellow new mum) and we were discussing our fitness and body changes. It is so important for everyone to understand the difference between body aspiration and body motivation. When scoping out social media we look at fitness influencers / fitness models and we tend to have envy for their physique, body structure and, sometimes, their life.... We yearn for their "look" and try everything we can to get that "look". The problem here is, this will never be achieved. They are them as you are you. Its impossible to naturally enhance your muscles to look exactly like 'that'. It's okay to seek motivation, but if you aspire to be like that then you are only leaving yourself open for dissapointment. Motivate yourself by looking at yourself. Is there a moment when you look back and say "I was my happiest at this time"?! Use a piece of clothing that you have wanted to fit into, perhaps have a fitness goal you wish to achieve or just focus on your overall health and your future. By using social media for motivation, look at the person's history. I guarantee majority of these "influencers" live a very strict life just to perfect that image, but it is worth it if they aren't happy. Social media shows you what they want you to see. #beyou #beyourownmotivation #Imotivatemyself

16.01.2022 IT FEELS GREAT TO BE BACK!!! Awesome training session with some of my favourite people. We have a few spots left for tomorrows class but it is filling up fast. 15.01.2022 X-MAS HAMPER DRIVE ends in a little over 1 week. I have had a couple of people from out of town transfer money to me and I have bought items on their behalf. If you are wanting to donate but do not have the time to drop items off this is also an option. *photo of items and receipt are sent to you.... We have received quite a few items so far and are very thankful that so many people are willing on helping others during this time. Thank you.

15.01.2022 40 weeks pregnant vs. 12 weeks post-partum. How did I do it? Well I pushed an almost 9 pound baby out ...and I stayed consistent with a healthy well balanced diet. There's is no secret or magic fix to being healthy.... If you are someone who keeps saying "I need to start exercising because I have weight to loose", may I suggest looking into your diet first. Start small and work your way up. You don't want to jump in and try to train 5x a week and eat a strict diet that you are not yet use to. Take things one step at a time and slowly adjust your lifestyle. Step 1: Focus on your diet and start adjusting what you eat and how much you eat. Step 2: If you haven't exercised much before then start with walking. Schedule a few 30minute walks, when you can, throughout the week. Step 3: Start joining fitness classes or hire a trainer to help you. If you are someone who can dive right in and tackle all of the above head on, then do it. Just start with what works for you. I'm here for advice if you need it.

14.01.2022 Its no news I am no good with social media and keeping on top of my posts, but this doesn't mean I lack attention for my current online clients. Ive been told by "experts" in the social media game that if you wish to build a business you have to constantly post daily, to be 100% transparent, to post things about business and about your personal life, do live videos every single day etc. Its no news I'm not very confident posting videos of myself, I dont have the technical sk...ills (or even the time) to spend filming content, editing content and posting it. (Side note: if you have skills in this area please contact me). I like to spent my extra time focusing on each individual that has come to me for help. The number that rises on my follow, or friends, list doesn't show the amount of people I'm actually helping and THAT'S what I'm here to do. I have a great network of clients, and am always willing to help more. I have helped many individuals and if you look at my FB reviews you can see that. Or if you have / use to train with me please leave a review below so others who do not yet know me can see how I've helped you. I may not be on top of my social media game but I am on top of taking care of those who have reached out to me. I'm taking online clients now. Message me for more details.

05.01.2022 Friendly reminder that IGA have now set up donation bins for our Christmas Hamper Donations. A lot of people are grabbing a couple of items on sale and popping them in. We've received canned foods, toiletries, cereals, coffee cups, body soaps and more so far.... Every little bit counts.

04.01.2022 **News Years Resolutions** Yesterday I had a conversation with hubby about "New Year Resolutions"! I use to be so zone on this, "new year, new me", "starting fresh on the first of January I will.....". Come February I had already forgotten my "Resolutions" and nothing changed.... The year is so unpredictable and after 2020 who knows what 2021 will bring. I, personally, am not setting resolutions. Instead all I want to focus on is my health, my family and friends, and my business. By taking each day as it comes I won't need to dwell on the things I didn't do on my 'NY Reso List'. If you are someone who can relate then let's draw our attention away from that list and just focus on one thing that's most important to you. IF resolution lists work for you then GO FOR IT. That's the beauty of it, you do what works for you. Edit: I'm not saying to not have a goals list - just don't wait until January 1st to start it. One big goal for me - get my s@!t together and post more on my socials Each day is a new day. Start tomorrow.

02.01.2022 Its hard to stick to a program, we've all been there! Life can get busy, life can challenge us and when this happens we loose sight of ourselves. So what can we do if we don't have time to exercise?!... - if you have a family I'm sure you prioritise your time with them so get outside and play, go for a walk, do something that involves moving your body or get the kids to help meal prep some healthy snacks - focus on your diet!!!! I cannot stress this enough. The harsh truth - you are lying to yourself if you say "I don't have time to focus on my diet". Finding time to meal prep is hard, I can understand that, but focusing on your diet is not. There are SO MANY convenient health food options these days. Stop being slack. I don't want to hear it. (Sorry for the tough love) - on many occasions I hear "I don't have time to exercise" but you do have time to sit down and scroll social media for an hour (hello you're here reading this ). Using the "I don't have time" is an excuse. So admit it - you want the changes and strength, but you don't want to work for it. That's your decision. But I can assure you that the hardest part is starting and then once you have a flow on things it comes naturally. So start by going for a walk each day for a week, then introduce 1 day of light exercise and slowly increase from there. You're reading this because you came to my fitness page, or group, in search of some inspiration. Here it is. Take it or leave it. But at the end of the day it's your decision of where you want to be weeks, months and even years from today. Everything gets easier once you make a habit of it. Stick to it!

This workout was one of the toughest I completed in a very long time but it was a great reminder of how far I can go when I take away those negative thoughts telling myself "I can't".
