24.01.2022 Asking Bailey if he will be my Valentine....he said yes and ate the rose! Thanks Alyssa For the photo

21.01.2022 More good news.....two different pregnancy scans came back positive yesterday. Both for owners who already have Bailey progeny that they are riding and happy with it’s great that they are now breeding their next riding horse. One was frozen semen shipped to NSW and the other was chilled semen here in Victoria. Bailey’s semen has very high fertility and mare owners have no problems with the AI process due to high motility in the chilled and post thaw frozen. Jacqui, our collecting vet, once told me while she was preparing his single collection, for shipping to an owner with two mares to do, that there was enough for at least 10 inseminations from one collection!

21.01.2022 Bailey Baby Boast This is Blinkbonnie Ruby, a 5yo mare I bred with Bailey from the ASB mare Lockie (race name Looking at You). She is just broken in and was described by her rider Mandy as "the easiest horse I have broken in, a testament to your breeding program". ... Mandy and I own Ruby in partnership. Mandy is a dressage rider and instructor in South Australia. Ruby was ACE Group foal assessed and achieved a "Elite" percentage, one of only a few awarded each year in the Australian assessment tour, it is interesting to see how she is turning out and fulfilling her potential. I look forward to watching her progress under saddle and maybe even having a ride one day. Lockie had 4 foals with Bailey the first born was Lacey then Logan, my Tucker and finally Ruby. Lockie is now 20 yo and living in retirement with me in Bangholme.

20.01.2022 Bailey Baby Boast This is Russian Bella (Ella). She is rising 6yo now and one of Bailey’s smaller girls who is under 16hh.... Ella was for sale last year as an unbacked prospect (due to being too small for her then owner) and was started under saddle by Reform Equestrian earlier this year before being offered for sale again. Her new owner Juliana took delivery of her in September after an extended period with Reform putting in the miles on road and trail rides - what a great way to start and a perfect use of Corona Time. Since then Ella has been enjoying her working life, jumping, lessons, cantering up hills for fitness and is genuinely happy to come out of the paddock each day. Shown in these recent pictures with her very proud and happy new owner, Ella is off to her first HT competition next weekend. Hopefully she will love the XC at Werribee as much a Bailey did! Goodluck Girls.
