02.01.2022 More than 100 years ago, at 11am on 11 November 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of the most brutal war the world had seen. In the four years of that war, more than 330,000 Australians served overseas, and over 60,000 had died. Today, on 11 November we mark that anniversary, and remember all those who sacrificed so much for us all, both in WWI, and all the wars, conflicts and operations that have happened since, and still continue today.... We particularly honour and celebrate those among our residents, and their families, who are veterans of conflicts, and hope that you will join us in paying our respects and express our gratitude for all they have given.
