22.01.2022 We’re thrilled to bits to welcome a new addition to the ‘Rustle’ family! Baby Brushtail Possum ‘Rascal’ was spotted riding his Mum Rosie’s back on a night-time jaunt recently, accompanied by proud Dad, ‘Russell’. Over the years, many guests at Lin House and Lin Cottage have heard Russell rustling around in the trees after sunset, and might have even seen him enjoying the view from the Queensland Brush Box tree near the patio. Over the last year or so, Russell was often accomp...anied by his ‘wife’ Rosie. After the New Year’s Eve fires we were devastated by the loss of wildlife, and held serious concerns for the wellbeing of our funny, playful possum friends. Happily, we saw them again in late January. They’d clearly found refuge from the fires and were back to their old habits (and habitats). Thanks to our friends staying in Lin Cottage, we are very excited to announce that two recently became three! A very warm Mallacoota welcome to our new resident, Rascal, and wish him a long, happy and ‘fruit-full’ life!
