Were at that age where we see wrinkles, grey hair, and extra kilos. We see the cute 25-year-olds and reminisce. But we were also 25, just as they will one day be our age.... We arent the girls in their summer clothes anymore. What they bring to the table with their youth and zest, we bring our wisdom and experience. We have raised families, run households, paid the bills, dealt with disease, sadness, and everything else life has assigned us. Some of us have lost those who were nearest and dearest to us. We are survivors. We are warriors in the quiet. We are women, like a classic car or a fine wine. Even if our bodies arent what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage, and our strength. We shall all enter this chapter of our lives with humility, grace, and pride over everything we have been through, and we should never feel bad about getting older. 04.01.2022 Before you go to bed tonight, make a decision. If you make a commitment to yourself to get up and chase your dreams, then do it. I am an early riser, usually by 5.30am or 6am. My routine is pretty simple. I get up, go and put the kettle, get dressed, then make a cup of hot water and lemon. Once I've drunk that, I do some form of exercise, either jump on the bike (indoors at the moment) or take the dog for a walk.... It's in the morning that I do my personal development. This month I am listening to a guy called Ed Mylett. As Ed says, keep promises that you've made to yourself. If you say you're going to get up early, then get up early. If you promise yourself that you're going to go for a fun in the morning, then go for that run. Simples!!
