21.01.2022 During this iso-time I’ve been posting videos of my iso walks on my personal FB. Now that my editing has scrubbed up a bit, I felt my wanders have earnt the right to be posted on my Artist Page. So, this is the LAUNCH of my video wanders, that features my recent LAUNCH into the pavement. Many of you have already seen this vid ... I simply want it archived on this page, as a catapult into editing-land.

20.01.2022 It has been an honour to make video content for an important training project called 'Continuous Voices'. Ballarat City Council has initiated this project as an acknowledgment of and as positive stepping-stone's towards healing from damage caused by sexual assault. 'Continuous Voices' includes the training of a group of Ballarat artists, who will be working with survivors of sexual assault, using creative engagement for healing. This project also aims to develop a public si...te dedicated to acknowledging survivors of sexual assault in our community. https://www.creativeballarat.com.au/continuousvoices

13.01.2022 BALLARAT BUSH. This video shares my drawing using graphite and rocks of raw earth pigment, wild foraged from the Ballarat bush. Born and bred during this COVID era, this art work was first filmed at the beginning of our lockdown (thanks for your patience as I repost old footage) Finally, as we exit lockdown, this image emerges ... an ode to all the iso-walks, bush meditations and cleansing immersion into the vivid humming life and light within the bush. Three cheers to Mart...in for his keen eye behind the camara. This post has had a few tech issues, and the audio volumne has not transferred to FB as it usually does. I would re-post it but this is the 3rd time this morning that I've posted this video. The first two times, I could not find the video again ... so if you see random versions floating around FB, please forgive me, my brain is in my laundry room, grinding pigments. Its best to just click this link below: https://lindafranklin.com.au/artwork/ballarat-bush/
12.01.2022 I'm deeply touched by the wordsmithing of journalist Edwina Williams from the Ballarat Times News, who contacted me, visited and published this lovely article. Gratitude plus.
10.01.2022 A video of my mural of prints pasted up along the walls of a laneway. Wrestling the hefty subject of historic social suffering from Ireland by the hands of Britain, that then sailed to this land, colonialising that damage into the cultural roots of Ballarat. Damage done ...now seen, now heard, now believed. The writing is on the wall.
