25.01.2022 A belated farewell to this bunch of kind, resilient and enthusiastic learners. May the LPS values guide you through your high school years and help you to achieve what ever you set your mind to.

23.01.2022 LPS students are invited to attend the LPS ANZAC service on Sunday 25th April. The SRC will be meeting Ms Osborne at the choir meeting point (near the tennis court) no later than 7.15 am to March in the parade. All students/parents/siblings are welcome to join us. The service begins at 7.30am in ANZAC Park. Our combined school choir will be singing and our SRC executive will be laying a wreath on behalf of the school. Students walking in the school group are encouraged to wear their school uniform and a warm jacket.

23.01.2022 Our whole school picnic was such a fun day. We were so lucky to be able to celebrate the end of a challenging year in such a wonderful way. Thanks Phill from Aardvark Adventures for another great day! Department of Education, Tasmania

20.01.2022 Today we welcomed Theresa Sainty to work with some of our indigenous students. They are practicing hand prints in earth colours ready to create an art piece in the garden under the Aboriginal flag pole.

18.01.2022 All visitors to our school are still required to complete the Visitor Health Screen form before moving past the office. You can now use SZapp to complete this form online before you come in (must still be completed on day of visit). Just let our admin staff know that you have done the online form and we can check the responses electronically. We will also have QR codes displayed at assembly/LIL/Pre Kinder entrances. Scan the code with the camera on your phone and it will take you to the online form. Paper forms will still be available to complete. We appreciate your ongoing patience with this process!

17.01.2022 Tomorrow is the final day to get icypole orders in for the Grade 6 Celebrations Fundraiser. Spare forms are available from the office, or you can write your child’s name and class on a piece of paper and send it along to 5/6 White with $1 for each icypole ordered Friday is ICYPOLE DAY!!

16.01.2022 Combined Choir End of Year recording session is on today at Montrose Bay High School Performing Arts Centre, Tuesday 1 December, 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Drive around to the back of the High School to access gymnasium.

04.01.2022 SWIM FUN starts tomorrow, Tuesday 1st Dec. Students in Prep- Grade 2 will head to the Clarence Aquatic Centre tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday for water familiarisation lessons. Please make sure your child has their bathers, towel, items to change into and a plastic bag to put wet items in each day.
