25.01.2022 U15s Girls Family Day - Wrap Up Thanks to all the family and friends who came along and watched our two u15 girls teams play each other. A great evening with music, food and cricket being played in true LCC spirit. Thanks to all for handling the last minute change in venue. LCC has seen amazing growth in its junior girls cricket and we are looking forward to seeing many of these girls continue on in their cricketing journey.... Congratulations to all the prize winners on the night. Big thanks to our coaches for their commitment and enthusiasm towards increasing female participation.

11.01.2022 Certainly among the more significant outcomes for the club tonight, with the club now in the position and with the ability and facility to DUAL stream matches with two cameras. The club will still continue to support the NVPlay platform as we have done during the last two seasons, as that has proven it's balance and benefit through the course of the season so far for a majority of parties. However, we will now use NVPlay and FrogBox, with the ability to use both platforms si...de by side at matches. The club will first use the Frogbox Platform on November 29th with the Under 17 One Day match against Glenorchy. On December 5, the club are scheduled to hold their 1st Grade T20 Gala Day against University and Glenorchy, with both these games to be dual streamed through NVPlay and Frogbox. Certainly very few, if any, clubs across Australia and even at Premier Cricket level take on the challenge that we will be undertaking here, but its one that the club looks forward to as we continue to advance our streaming capabilities to better heights and continue to provide a top standard product for all parties involved. #farnietime

09.01.2022 Hi all, For those who ordered clothing through the club (i.e. not online) in September, clothing will be available in the clubrooms on Thursday night from 7pm. Please make sure you have made payment prior to collecting. Emails have been sent out so please double check these. For those who ordered via the online store in October, clothing was meant to have been sent on January 1 and we will put a post up once these orders have arrived. ... 06.01.2022 Under 17's have won the Premiership for 2020-21! This is the club's 2nd Under 17 title, the last being in 2006-07. Winning the toss and batting first after play was washed out on Day 1, Lindisfarne did lose an early wicket with Joe McGann gone for 4 with the score 1/17. ... However, steadying knocks from captain Liam Harris (50) along with good support from Tom Murrell and Colby Whitelaw absorbed the time needed to bat the day. Finishing off the work was last week's centurion in Luke Quinlan while player of the match Jacob Goodsell batted right through the day for 4 and a half hours to finish not out on 81. 01.01.2022 Hi Master Blaster Participants and Parents/Guardians, I hope you have had a great time participating in the first half of the Master Blaster Program this term and have enjoyed the opportunity to improve and develop your cricket skills. If you are looking for some further cricket opportunities during the school holidays, we are running a number of Woolworths Cricket Blast School Holiday programs. Details regarding when and where these programs will take place are listed below:... School Holiday Programs: 4 x 2-hour sessions over 4 days Program Cost is $50pp Participants receive a pack, including: backpack, wrist watch and cricket ball Both Blast Programs will be run simultaneously. For each program, participants will be separated into Junior and Master Blaster groups. Junior Blasters is for children aged 5-7 and involves fun skill-based activities Master Blasters is for children aged 7-11 and is T20 style cricket where everyone gets a chance to Bat, Bowl and Field. The Eastern Short Program Dates are January 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th @ Blundstone Arena, Bellerive 9am 11am Visit Playcricket.com.au to register A reminder that the second half of the Master Blaster program will recommence the first week of Term 1 Friday 5th February. The program will be run at Lindisfarne Cricket Club (Anzac Park) for the first 3 weeks, with the last 2 weeks taking place at Montagu Bay Cricket Club (Geilston Bay Oval). Further information will be provided closer to time. Master Blaster: All clubs are opening up registrations for the second half of the program (5 weeks, Term 1). Cost will be $70 and include a club shirt. You do not need to reregister if you have completed the first half of the program. This cost will only apply for any new registrations for the second half of the program.
