25.01.2022 Driver Appreciation Week is when we take the time to honour all our professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs. Here at Lindsay Australia we recognise all the hard work that our drivers put in and we cannot thank them enough. Our drivers are trained to withstand countless hours on the road, working in the most volatile conditions our highways. Currently, we have over 700 of our professio...nal truck drivers nationwide. So during this week, when you head to the store or to your local produce market and witness the variety of products that are available on the shelves, think about the professional drivers that made this possible. When you’re out to dinner, stop and reflect on the meal you’re about to eat and how the ingredients were delivered by a convoy of everyday heroes. 24.01.2022 Be Visible Avoid Blind Spots! Truck drivers have certain limitations when it comes to accelerating and slowing down. Heavy vehicles need more room to make turns and their blind spots are much larger than cars. When driving around trucks, keep in mind the following and stay safe.

13.01.2022 Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia and specialises in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. We operate a network of freight terminals with significant coldroom facilities across the east coast of Australia and employ a staff of approximately 1400 workers. Lindsay Transport is currently seeking an experienced transport operations worker to work in our National Transport O...ffice (NTO) Nightshift team based at Coffs Harbour. The position will be offered on a full time basis and will report directly to the NTO Manager.
