16.01.2022 Be Visible Avoid Blind Spots! Truck drivers have certain limitations when it comes to accelerating and slowing down. Heavy vehicles need more room to make turns and their blind spots are much larger than cars. When driving around trucks, keep in mind the following and stay safe.

09.01.2022 More happy snaps to share! Here we have the gang from Gatton enjoying their driver appreciation BBQ! Take a moment to be thankful for the efforts of our truck drivers and recognise that without them, our tables and our stores would all be empty. #Without Trucks Australia Stops!

08.01.2022 #thursdaythoughts We are full swing into the New Year here at Lindsay Australia, and we would like to remind road users when driving around trucks to keep the following in mind: Travel at a safe following distance. Truck drivers have certain limitations when it comes to accelerating and slowing down. This is due to their size and weight. ... Heavy vehicles can legally use more than one lane to turn. Be prepared to give extra room when a heavy vehicle uses an indicator. Trucks have four blind spots: 1. Immediately in front of the truck 2. Beside the driver's door 3. Directly behind the truck 4. On the passenger's side, from the door extending out across three lanes along the length of the truck. If we keep these in mind, we can all share the roads safely together! Check out this very informative but simple video by SafeT360 - Don't overtake turning vehicles. #ata #safet360 #sharetheroad #safety #trucking #transport #Lindsayaustralia

04.01.2022 Driver Appreciation Week is when we take the time to honour all our professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs. Here at Lindsay Australia we recognise all the hard work that our drivers put in and we cannot thank them enough. Our drivers are trained to withstand countless hours on the road, working in the most volatile conditions our highways. Currently, we have over 700 of our professio...nal truck drivers nationwide. So during this week, when you head to the store or to your local produce market and witness the variety of products that are available on the shelves, think about the professional drivers that made this possible. When you’re out to dinner, stop and reflect on the meal you’re about to eat and how the ingredients were delivered by a convoy of everyday heroes. Take a moment to be thankful for the efforts of our truck drivers and recognise that without them, our tables and our stores would all be empty. Without Trucks Australia Stops!
