09.01.2022 When the abs are weak, watch out. Client came into the clinic with left sided sciatica symptoms. She pointed to a very sore spot on her left gluteus. Her single... leg raise did not increase the sciatica, so I assumed something in the gluteus area was overly tight. Her piriformis was on fire, and palpating it brought on the sciatica. But why was it so tight? She told me she rolled on a ball there to get relief, but it was only temporary. Using the NKT testing protocol I found her piriformis overworking, and her abs and psoas under active. Released the piriformis, then activated the other two. She felt better, but needs to do her homework. Release without activation only produces temporary results. That's just treating the symptoms. Activate and treat the cause as well. See more
