25.01.2022 Applying a cold applied 3 coat high friction coating to a boat ramp in N.Q. Boys have been throwing the line in every chance they get along side the asphalt crew , making the most of it

24.01.2022 Weve been busy grinding and painting each night. Pics dont do it justice but its work and we are home each night for once!

24.01.2022 We are grinding this 200+m2 drive way back to bare concrete to re-apply a new hopper on, concrete resurfacing compound. The old coating had failed due to a lack of polymer being present within the old coating. Polymer is the binder which all waterborne paint and coatings require for adhesion. We do not take any chances here at Lined:... We grind the surface back to bare. Cut expansion joints in the slab to prevent further cracking. Patch all minor cracks and imperfections with an epoxy mortar. Apply a coat of pure polymer to the surface. Intermix a rich polymer blend with the finish hoppered on resurfacing compound. We then apply 2 coats of U.V stable sealer for added protection and longevity. Its a slow process but going to be down for a long time! Stay tuned for the finished product

23.01.2022 Another week another few more red roads Happy Friday everyone A Township Entry Treatment (TET) is a speed management measure that involves providing new signs and line marking at the point of transition from a high speed rural environment to a lower speed environment to coincide with entering a township.... The TET program has also been rolled out in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with both countries recording a reduction in travel speeds and crash rates by enhancing the drivers awareness to the changing environment. These are now being rolled out around queensland.

09.01.2022 A shout out to all the businesses out there whove been shut down or restricted until further notice. We are thinking of you all, we will do everything we can to help other local small businesses. As we still are trading, our job can be very isolated, applying social distancing and following strict sanitization practises we are still moving around painting lines on roads. We spend our money in local accommodation, local takeaway/food stores and employ local traffic labour wh...erever we can, now even more so than ever. From one small business owner to another, stay strong, hang in there as best you can, because we are all in this together and will be affected at different rates.

09.01.2022 Started a project we were awarded 4mths ago and has been on hold due to Covid. Caneland shopping centre in Mackay. Will be a staged process with plenty of variations we are sure, but its great to have some work where I was born and bred!

03.01.2022 Setting up our twin pump assembly on our long line truck for cold applied plastic. Little bit of tweaking to do but very close to having one of few long line cold applied plastic trucks in Aus. Flick of a switch and 1/2 an hour later we can switch straight back to waterborne paints. Something rarely seen in this industry. Always trying to innovate here at Lined Australia _ _ _
