25.01.2022 Good morning from Linfield. It is another beautiful day here in the Southern Barossa. With plenty of fresh air and lots of space! We appreciate that there is a great deal of fear and uncertainty out there for travellers currently.... Regarding staying safe while holidaying during the COVID-19 Pandemic we would like to offer our support. Our self-contained property is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment with forests, bushwalking, biking, kayaking, fishing, plenty of fresh air and vineyards at your doorstep. The Barossa is open for business and businesses are exercising appropriate care and our food outlets are offering their amazing wares as takeaways, so you can grab a blanket & picnic basket from us and find a spot all to yourself. Linfield accommodation is always cleaned to the highest standards and attention to detail and this will not change except that we are now providing further sanitary precautions in line with the current health recommendations. We are closely monitoring the situation with the safety and comfort of our guests in mind, so if you have made a booking with us and are unable to travel due to International travel restrictions imposed by your country or ours, we will certainly be flexible and enable you to change your dates for another time in the future. 24.01.2022 Linfield today The past two months have been the most surreal ever - it seems as though we are on the outside looking in at a very bizarre event. COVID19 has imposed many restrictions and for some of us, it has closed our businesses down or severely restricted. The end game is our hope that our guests both past and those booked into the future, get through this nasty virus pandemic safe and healthy. ... We are following SA Health guidelines and totally support their recommendations regarding isolation, shut down etc (as hard as the latter is financially for us). It will give us the chance to finish the painting we started a while back and look into the purchase of a couple of 'yaks for our guests to use at the neighbouring reservoir ( Warren and South Para Reservoir Fishing ) and create a proper walking trail through the vineyard and if it ever rains, give the garden a bit of love. Our other business, Linfield Road Wines is currently doing online sales only, so if you need a few great wines that have been handcrafted by us for something different, jump over to our store at www.linfieldroadwines.com.au.
