08.01.2022 WEEKEND WANDERINGS from Linfield This weekend we are celebrating The Pruner. There are many layers to our Pruner, just like an onion in Shrek.... Firstly, the wine. Hand picked, hand pressed, from 50 year old Grenache vines loving planted by hand. Secondly, The Pruner represents our Dad and Grandpa, Arnold. As a young man he learnt to prune as an eight year old and went on to win many trophies and regional awards as a gun Pruner. Arnold pruned the whole season up until he was 95. This weekend to celebrate his 98th birthday, for every six bottles of red you purchase, we will present you with a bottle of The Pruner. Drop by for a platter or dumplings too! My body needs time to adjust!... Steve's efforts to get the swampy working yesterday came to a serious halt once the temp on the roof hit mega hot celsius. ( Note to self, diary entry for Nov 1st in 2021 AC maintenance ) Due to current restrictions, we cannot pile you into the other area with air cond to eat, so we have made the tough call that we will not be doing food today. Tastings are available from 11 am in said area above. Number restrictions do apply. Thank you for your understanding.
