24.01.2022 We are looking for community members who are interested in joining our NDIS Focus Group in Port Macquarie and Port Stephens. The purpose of the Focus Group is to gain an understanding of what services are needed within the community to support those with a disability. We would also like to have a better understanding of what services are already available but could be expanded on or done differently. 24.01.2022 I broke my leg during a water-skiing accident a few weeks ago. With my leg in a cast, I couldn’t drive and was unsure what to do. I needed to get home from the hospital and back to work. Transport from Laurieton to Port Macquarie can be very expensive. I called LINKED and the team was amazing. They were very helpful with scheduling the bookings and the Drivers arrived right on time. They just made everything so easy."

Despite the many obstacles we have had over the last year, our organisation has continued to show a strong financial position reporting profitability and growth. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and carers who have made 2019/20 a success always with a strong commitment to help the most vulnerable in our communities. 12.01.2022 Meet the team. This time, Christie who is our Community Visitors Scheme Coordinator. Christie has been with LINKED for almost 3 years and you certainly cannot miss her perpetual smile. Christie works with our Community Visitor Volunteers who befriend elderly people within our community to help reduce the feelings of isolation and loneliness.

11.01.2022 ArtWalk 2020 is coming soon! Come and join us for the 'Longest Footpath Gallery' in Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton. After last year's great success, the ArtWalk has gone bigger. From Thursday 1 October until Thursday 8 October, a broad range of programs will be offered such as Longest Footpath Art Gallery, Artists Markets and Public Art Installations. We may not be able to meet in large gatherings or encourage getting up and close, but we can stroll (socially distance...d) and enjoy what our community creatives have to offer. We invite you to join us on our special Artwalk Outings: Laurieton - Thursday 1 October Wauchope - Wednesday 7 October Port Macquarie - Thursday 8 October We pick you up from your doorstep around 5pm and take you to the ArtWalk. Afterwards, we will enjoy dinner at a local venue and take you home around 8pm. Cost for per person is $7.50 ($15 non-subsidised), dinner is at own expense.
