25.01.2022 Well Done to Mark Ackroyd who has taken out today’s Quarry/Steelworks Medley Stableford with a great score of 40 points! Runner up was Dave Gentles on a countback to Michael Tuite and Craig Browne all shooting 39 points and scratch was won by Grant Meredith with a nice 35 points. In the Brickyard/Railyard Medley Stableford Clint Mackenzie shot a fantastic score of 43 point to win by three to Keith Smith who shot 40 points, in third was George Aguilar with 36 points and Manny Serrano has taken out the scratch event with 32 points.

25.01.2022 It was tight at the top today as 4 players landed on 40pts. Graham Atkins came out the best though as he took the win on a c/b over Peter West, Ryan Golub and Darryl Burkett. The scratch was won by Jason Kast who fired a -3 round of 39pts, also taking a win by c/b over Grahame Stinson.

25.01.2022 Finally after four attempts, the Annual LSC vs Cronulla Challenge was contested on Monday 30th November. Cronulla Golf Club held a Cancer Fund Raiser & a Memorial to our mate and long time challenge competitor, Wayne Charlton. The day was fantastic a great roll up of 150 players which incorporated our Challenge. ... Cronulla got the chocolates over the Links this time & the overall top player on the day was Terry Donaghy, the former President of Cronulla GC who was instrumental along with Wayne Charlton in bringing our 2 clubs together in forming our Reciprocal arrangements some 14 years ago. We look forward to hosting Cronulla in January 2021.

20.01.2022 DRIVING RANGE MAINTENANCE LSC's Driving Range will be closed thos afternoon, Wednesday 30th December, from 3:30pm for maintenance. The range will re-open on Thursday at 9am.

20.01.2022 In the ladies open day today Kerry Michie & Kerrie Bickle took out the Murphy's Modified 4BBB Stableford with +17 on a c/b over Kim Green & Cathy Munday. In 3rd place was Ros Wicks & Kathy Baker with +13. In the Thursday Throwdown Jack Petiquin's 29 scratch points was enough to get the big money with John Maggs the r/up on 27pts.... Best stableford nett score went to Ryan Thomas with 39pts.

John Reynolds came second shooting 42 points and in third was Brett Blacker with 39 points. Scratch winner was Tom Persson with 30 points. In the Open Medley stableford Sean Hovey has won with a nice 36 points, runner up was David Gentles with 35 points, and in third was Shane Grenfell with 34 points.

Scratch was won by Jason Wills & Richard Crawford with 72 points. Grant Johnson has won the Single Stableford with a great score of 44 points, runner up was Scott Condy on a countback to Jason Wills, Andrew Appel, John Allison, Darren Szutowicz and Paul Bolton all shooting 42 points! Kurt Miller has won the scratch event with 38 points.

In the vets medley stableford Laurie McDonald got the bickies with 37pts on a c/b over Graham Russell. Larry How, Tim Riordan, Alan Broadhead and Paul Box were next on 36pts.... The scratch went to Michael Woods on 30pts.

16.01.2022 Today's New Years Eve Medley Stableford was decided in a three way count back, the Winner is Kane Graham, runner up Greg Brosens and in third place Adam Reyes all with great rounds of 42 points. In the scratch event Graham Stinson carded another impressive round of -8 (44 points) for the win.

01.01.2022 Flyover over Hole 6... A mid length par 3 downhill with breath taking views of the course and green below. A large ridge runs diagonally across the green making club selection a priority. In 2016 a greenside bunker on the left was removed which now brings the small pond into play. This green is scheduled for reshaping in early 2019. www.linksshellcove.com.au
