14.01.2022 Last weekend would have been Iceland's 20th Reykjavík Pride Parade. Sadly due to the Coronavirus pandemic the pride parade was cancelled. However Iceland's city... bus service, Strætó, didn't want to miss out on celebrating pride. So Strætó decided to show their support by decorating one of their buses with pink, blue and white colours to symbolise the transgender flag. They also featured the words "enough space for all" to honour trans people in Iceland. It's been a significant 12 months for trans people in Iceland. Last year Iceland passed the Gender Autonomy Act. This act allows trans people to register their gender identity without having to meet certain medical requirements. And they can choose to register as neither male or female. See more

04.01.2022 #OnThisDay the Mr Drummer Northern Melbourne Heat was held at The Laird Hotel. The night opened with Brett Blick singing live and the current 1990-91 Internatio...nal Mr Drummer title holder Clive Platman hosting the nights activities. Five judges judged three contestants comprising an interview, appearing in a jockstrap, and performing their total fantasy segment. The winner, Zaid Rogan, went on to compete in the final in mid-May. For a list of Australian leather titleholders, see: www.leatherpedia.org/australian-leather-titleholders/. The Archives holds a wealth of leather and BDSM material, including material documenting Australian leather titles. For more information on our holdings, or if you have leather material you are interested in preserving with the Archives, please get in touch: [email protected]. 04.01.2022 The Leadership team here at LINK have thought long and hard in this current crisis And it is with great sadness and deep regret we are currently going to have to postpone our operations; at least when it comes to the upcoming meeting (April). At this time, we are taking on the best information we have available from both medical professionals and the government, and asking our members to do their best to maintain the recommended measures, and remain isolated where possible. ...This is for the safety of both our membership, and the wider community as a whole. We will be looking into options for the May meeting if things continue as they are. We will be eagerly awaiting word from ACON and will be looking into some kind of video live streams for if this happens again; But please keep an eye out for further announcements from us. In the meantime, keep safe, and we will let you know as soon as developments come up.

03.01.2022 Question number ONE to ponder and discuss for our meeting on sunday.

01.01.2022 A perfect month to be in isolation... enjoy yourself and we'll be back ASAP
