It is quite hardy and suits a variety of climates and soil types, with the characteristic bottle shape developing in approximately five to eight years. Available now in 140mm pots @ $10 each. 06.01.2022 Here’s something a little different. This photo is an overhead view of Angophora costata, SMOOTH BARKED APPLE or the SYDNEY RED GUM. With a smooth and sometimes orange bark it grows best in a well drained shallow sandy soil or loam but will tolerate a light clay soil planting. 03.01.2022 We have approx 200 River Red Gum, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, seedlings ready to go! The seed was collected late last year from the lower Namoi and these trees would suit a planting close to the river.
