25.01.2022 I don’t think I’ll ever tire of these sessions in the water with a heavily pregnant beauty. There’s something so magical about how I end theses maternity sessions. The deep rich sunset glow, the warmth still in the air from days heat, the warm water with the odd fish jumping around us. Sometimes the smell of a camp fire, and the sound of cicadas get louder as darkness approaches. I love it all. I can’t wait for my next one in a few days time. Xx

24.01.2022 Can we bring our puppy to the shoot YES PLEASE!!! Isn’t she the most adorable teddy bear you’ve seen.

23.01.2022 I’m chatting on Clubhouse tonight at 8.30pm (Sydney) 9.30am (London) if anyone wants to join myself and Mel from @notlittleforlong as we discuss imposter syndrome, confidence and finding your space in the industry. Something I struggle with from time to time. If you need an invite let me know in the comments. There’s a few people happy to give them out. iPhone only. Xxx

22.01.2022 I’m a lucky lady who can call this mumma friend. But I’m sad as they are moving to Sydney next week. But like so many of my friendships they don’t end because we don’t live up the road from each other. Instead we catch up when we travel. It’s been beautiful watching you and Vera grow together and I can’t thank you enough for being so awesome in front of my camera. I’m sad you’re moving away. But I know it’s not the end and your move is going to be so good for you all! Best of luck and lots of love, you will be missed. xxx

22.01.2022 Ok so I’ve had so many of you telling me how much you love this dress since I put it in my stories. I’m so in love with it too. But, it’s not for me, it’s for you, my beautiful clients. From the very beginning I’ve had a wardrobe for the babies. Then when we moved to Sydney 5 years ago I bought lots of skirts and tops for my maternity clients. Since then over the years I’ve added to the maternity wardrobe. But recently I’ve added to it to give all Mammas options. I have loads... of dresses to fit all different shapes and sizes. Colours to suit all skin tones. It’s important to feel great in the photos. If you feel great it will show. The purpose of the client wardrobe is to take away the headache of wondering what to wear. It has been carefully selected to suit my style of photography. Think I will have to buy this dress in different colours now...thI might look better in the blue one and a trip to the hairdressers wouldn’t hurt either xx See more

19.01.2022 Memories and moments in time captured forever. Isn’t this family just gorgeous?!

17.01.2022 Happy Christmas Eve Eve. Anyone know the tv show and who I’m quoting?

17.01.2022 Delicious rolls, baby boobies and softest squishiest skin. This is one of the best ages to capture! X

17.01.2022 I’m want to sleep like this baby after our holiday I had a little break with my family. We went a couple of hours north to Hervey Bay. We stayed in the cutest cabin with a fire pit and outdoor bath. We went whale watching, took the ferry over to Fraser Island which was incredible and just enjoyed each other’s company. I didn’t post on Instagram while away but did post in my stories. It was nice to take a break like that. Social media takes a fair bit of your time. My stories are usually personal to me. My posts are my work. So it’s nice to switch off. Any way, straight back into it today with a cake smash. Xx

13.01.2022 The belly button cord still in tact. I’m sure I’m not alone in this concern But when the cord came off I waited with concern that my child would be left with an outtie. It’s the one thing we don’t inherit. It’s luck of the draw on this one. Tell me I wasn’t alone in waiting to see what they’d get with hope it wouldn’t be an outie. xx

13.01.2022 Sisters. If you have one. You’ll know

12.01.2022 The best way to eat cake is to ram it into your mouth! Adds to the experience and it tastes better. Fact!

12.01.2022 That’s a wrap for today! See you all next week for more festive fun!!! Keep everything crossed the rain stays away

11.01.2022 Their little ray of sunshine

11.01.2022 The fidget feeder. Arms flailing, head butting, hair pulling, biting and kicking. As they get bigger there is a high chance you’ll be abused during the feeds. You just have to be a strong mamma

10.01.2022 Snuggled up all cosy. 4 more sleeps till Christmas. Although for us we leave on Wednesday to head up to Fraser for our first time camping in Qld. Half of me is really looking forward to it. The other half is full of dread. What if we run out of food? What if we ruin the car in the sand? What if it rains (and when it rains it rains!) What if we can’t fit everything we have in and on the car...one things for sure it’ll be an adventure and the kids are ridiculously excited. So that’s all that matters really. Any way it’ll all be fine and if we run out of food we will just come back skinny xx

09.01.2022 Oh this little one is going to be so looked after. All these helping hands. Some to help feed, some to help guide it, some to soothe, some to praise it. So much love surrounding it all ready. Only a few weeks more of waiting

08.01.2022 Newborn photography doesn’t have to be stressful, complicated or fussy. A cosy room, nice simple wraps and blankets, good light and a good lens on your camera and you’re almost there. Ensure the baby has a comfortably full tummy & has no wind. All of this will help make a content baby, then you’ll be able to mould it into your wraps and create simple yet beautiful memories for mum & dad. Of course the more you do it, like everything, the better it gets. The one thing I think constantly when I shoot is less is more. Xx

08.01.2022 Contemplating life

07.01.2022 When a cake smash turns into sensory play

06.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who joined @notlittleforlong and I over on Clubhouse last night. I had a lovely time chatting with you all. It’s a very refreshing platform where we can talk and not hide behind our keyboards. We can have good conversations and meet lots of like minded people. I can’t wait to do it again. Big hugs xxx

05.01.2022 It’s not always sunny on the Sunshine Coast. Occasionally we get rain. This shoot was snuck in right before the rain came. Celebrating their 3 year wedding anniversary which I was honoured to have captured too. We had such a laugh calling on the cows and feeding them. Made a perfect backdrop for their shoot. The last shot is my favourite

05.01.2022 The most incredible bump, home to two beautiful babies. I’m beyond excited to capture the identical twins. From a very young age I was curious about twins. I wished I was one. I desperately wanted them (identical only though ). I find them fascinating. How they can think, feel and behave the exact same. I’m also still blown away to think there are two babies snuggled up in this perfect bump. So amazing! Have a wonderful Sunday xx

03.01.2022 Family really is everything. When people say that their children are their world, it’s no lie. They are. You do everything and anything for them. They come before you in almost everything. So many sacrifices are made, and often without a second thought. So for me when we take a holiday, I try to be as present as possible. Definitely no work. Limited phone use unless it’s taking photos. Which is why I can’t wait for our little getaway. It’s very much needed. Our family, especially John, need this time to stop, relax and just have all of us together. Xx

03.01.2022 The strongest grip comes from your newborn. It actually has a specific name. Palmar Grasp Reflex. It lasts till around 6 months of age. I love my little facts about babies. I find it fascinating. I still would have loved to have been a midwife. Have an awesome Sunday. There’s nothing quite like a coffee in bed without rushing to get up and get on with your day! Xx

02.01.2022 The sun had set and the last of the light was all that was left to capture this stunner last night. Such a beautiful shoot...even though a blue jellyfish wrapped itself around both legs and my feet. I even had to pull it off with my fingers! First time I’ve experienced that It was a challenge to ignore the pain and keep working. They sting a lot (and itch, so itchy!) Glad it was me who got stung and not my clients! Xx

02.01.2022 The sweetest cake smash followed by the bubble bath. Despite the cake being super delicious this little man wasn’t into it. But the bath he loved. I’ve always done milk baths with flowers for the girls. But think the bubble baths are my new fave. Especially in my really old bath which I bought so long ago in an antique shop in Glasgow. There are so many cute images from this session but on Insta you can’t mix up landscape & portrait so I’ll have to do lots more posts. Xx

01.01.2022 Hello there (love his little forehead wrinkles!). Second week of the holidays for us. We have also put out tent up in the garden. Just to see that it’ll be ok for Christmas. Kids slept in the tent last night. So cute. They were so excited. I was nervous. But they were fine. It’s these little things we don’t think much of that our children treasure. Camping in the garden...makes great childhood memories. Did you ever do it? Have a great start to your week I’m off to the gym for my hour of self care xx
