21.01.2022 We’re so proud to have helped coordinate and drive the Novartis Wellness Day initiative! How did this campaign come about? Recent data from a number of sources, including Novartis’s own observations, has demonstrated that many people are avoiding getting routine check-ups, health screening and early diagnostic tests, because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Data from the Cancer Council supports this, with over 30% less breast cancer screenings taking place during the pandemic. Thi...s drop in early detection means that up to 8,000 people may have breast cancer right now but do not know it. This campaign is encouraging people to get checked for cancers like breast cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer or undertake cervical screening and routine blood testings. We are inviting all organisations to join us and participate in this important initiative. You can get involved in the following ways: By providing time off for your employees to get a health check. By donating to the McGrath Foundation, Pink Hope or a charity of your choice. Or simply by helping build awareness through the use of social media tiles to help promote the cause via your own social media channels. We understand how tricky running a business can be at the best of times, so to help business owners in the area we've designed some cute posters that can be printed on any standard printer (a4/a3/colour/b&w/whatever!) using not much ink and can be taped in store/venue windows/by the door. Just a friendly way to let your customers know they need t...o be wearing masks when they enter your venue/store.
