24.01.2022 A big Congratulations & Thank You to Sempai Ahmad Aly for the presentation of the Self Defence Seminar last night. Also Thank You to Sensei Trent Snell for collaborating on the presentation. Very professionally presented with content being most relevant to today's society and laws affecting us as martial artists. The presentation had video content conducive to mature adult viewing driving home the street based reality. At LBKA we intend to deliver this seminar to our higher... ranked younger age groups with edits conducive to the age of the recipients. Once again, thank you Sempai Ahmad and Sensei Trent. 14.01.2022 Found an old photo from 26 years ago of Sensei Trent and Shihan David having a private training session with the legendry Sensei Benny Urquidez in Los Angeles back in 1995. Sensei Trent was 14 years. Sensei Scott was the photographer. This was a privilege that was one of the highlights of our holiday. Sadly the autographed Gi jacket that Sensei Benny signed was left back in a LA hotel when leaving. ... Fond memories never fade :-) See more

13.01.2022 With the recent announcement of extending the restrictions due to Covid-19, we will need to continue with our exciting online classes into term 4 commencing on Monday 28th September. The class schedule will remain the same thus far. As much as we all look forward to running around and playing games with our Dojo buddies, this is the next best thing. Stay connected with the fun Karate Bingo Challenge which continues into term 4. Video your challenge and post it on our Members ...page. The restrictions may be lifted gradually and we will need to respond appropriately when the time comes. We are also being optimistic in running the end of year face to face gradings even if it extends into early December. However, this will still need to be under strict new guidelines in keeping with health safety. Stay safe and keep up your practise and fitness.

We have created a fun BINGO challenge for you all to participate in whether you are a Little Lion, Junior, Intermediate, or a Senior we encourage you all to take part How to play: Try to complete all challenges (you can make it a competition between family members) on the BINGO chart (print it out) Be as creative as you want... You MUST have video and/or picture proof (post onto the lion Bushido membership page, Instagram or Facebook story and tag @Lionbushidokarateacademy of your achievements) You can try and complete as many challenges as you want in one day (if you can) If some exercises are too easy, challenge yourself and do more or add weights where possible Most importantly - Challenge yourself and have fun trying to be as creative with new challenges This challenge will start on Monday 31st of august! 02.01.2022 As disappointing as it is being in a lockdown we need to roll-with-the-punches. Adapt back to what we did very well in term 2. We need to get on with our lives and make the best of what is available to us. We have an awesome team of instructors delivering quality instruction online. We have edited the website payment portal to reflect the current fees. If you have not received an email link to join the class it is possibly because you had not paid the term fee. It could als...o be that you have in fact received it but it went to your spam or junk folder. Let us try and eliminate all of the above reasons and ensure you receive the email links to join the class. We have extended the Early Payment discount till the end of next week, but be mindful that you would be missing classes. Any missed class cannot be made up. We look forward to seeing you all on our screens.
