04.01.2022 In 1953, an up and coming young politician in Georgia, Atlanta, USA joined the Plains Lions Club where he is still a member. Others in his family joined too. ...Today, he celebrated his 74th wedding anniversary. He became known for his love of peanuts. He was the 39th President of the United States and his name is Jimmy Carter. You don’t have to be Presidential material to join us. A desire to help serve the community while having fun is key. Many family members serve here in Wisbech too. It worked for him, it works for us - what about you? #weserve #servingwisbech
