21.01.2022 There are so many ways that being a member of your local Lions Club can help you to help others. Lions Club of Kings Meadows has been supporting the local Winte...r Relief appeal for many years by adding donations to the fundraising efforts. "We like to donate to this appeal because we feel we are sharing between the charities that are helping those most in need at this time of year," Vice president Judi Gorham said, pictured here with Dennis Mann. 18.01.2022 The Lioness Club of Brisbane Central invited Dr Carlos Salomon to speak to members on his research into ovarian cancer. This club is very generous to the Founda...tion and last year raised funds directly in support of ovarian cancer. Today Carlos shared an update on his research at the club meeting - and also brought 4 of his very talented PhD students. Many thanks to President Joan Rodgers for the invitation. #MedicalResearchMatters #Communityiswhatwemakeit Lions District 201 Q3 See more
14.01.2022 Congrats and welcome to the newly formed Australian Online & Travellers Lions Club. Sponsored by the Lions Club of Kootingal & District, this newly chartered Cl...ub aims to retain Lions members who may not be able to participate in the same way they once did, due to age, illness or living remotely, and to attract new members who are inclined to travel for extended periods. 09.01.2022 Multiple District Convention Day 2 5th May 2018
09.01.2022 What we REALLY want you to know is that YOU CAN TOO. We can all help support others in times of crisis. Donations and fundraising to provide financial assistance or to help with food for families, fodder for cattle - every little bit helps.

05.01.2022 With Australia currently facing what could be its worst bushfire crises in history, Lions Clubs are rallying together to support those affected. Lions across t...he country have been out in full force in their communities this week. And when disaster strikes, the Australian Lions Foundation is focused on getting emergency support to communities in need as quickly as possible. Right now, residents across NSW and QLD need our help, says Foundation Chairperson Tony Benbow OAM. Australians looking to make a donation and support those affected by the bushfires can do so through their local Lions Club or through donating directly to Australian Lions Foundation. Every dollar will go directly to supporting those affected and donations over $2 are tax deductable. To make a donation visit http://www.alf.lions.org.au/ and select the GiveNow link. https://www.givenow.com.au/australianlionsfoundation All donations over $2 are tax deductible. #LionsAustralia #LionsWeServe See more
